Jon and his company, New Earth Landscaping have transformed my self-managed (and rather spotty) previous lawn into a beautiful green carpet in just a couple of years using almost exclusively natural methods without a bunch of chemicals and professional management techniques and timely advice to properly water, cut, maintain, and develop a healthy, thriving lawn. Highly recommended lawn service, especially if you're never quite sure how to achieve a beautiful lawn economically, or have the time to be constantly on top of what it takes to keep it that way.
WOW! What a great experience we had with Jon and New Earth Landscaping. Our backyard needs a LOT of love, and Jon has been integral in making that happen. We have a sloping, shaded backyard with lots of weeds, overgrowth, and a rock wall that has been there since the dawn of time. We were overwhelmed trying to even think of ideas to make it better. We also have two small children and very little spare time to work on it also. Jon did a great consultation with us where he suggested some ideas, and followed up quickly with a quote via email. The quote was beyond reasonable and we scheduled the work.
Jon sprayed the backyard to kill off the weeds (not pictured but let me tell you what a difference THAT made) and then came back to lay down mulch, prune some plants, and tidy up the rock wall (pictured- before on top, after on the bottom). We are enjoying our backyard for the first time since we bought the house. We are looking forward to continuing to work with New Earth Landscaping for future plantings and projects.

I hired New Earth to De-weed and Mulch my yard. They did a great job and were kind enough to trim some of the more delicate plants. Work was done within a day, great service!

Outstanding! Jon and his team worked a near miracle on the lower part of our yard. He listened to our vision, provided excellent advice on the solutions, and clearly understood our vision. His team was punctual, turned the vision into reality, and Jon followed-up after the work. We are so happy with the results, we'll be asking Jon to work the same near miracle on our front gardens in the Fall.

New Earth Landscaping is a premier landscaper in the area. I have seen firsthand the exceptional quality of their work for years. They recently covered our front yard with turf fescue sod, and it truly looks outstanding. We would wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone's landscaping needs.

New Earth has been our go to expert when it comes to landscaping. Jon and his team have done amazing things with our yard that has been neglected for a year from a previous owner. Recently we had them plant some new flowers and relocate some bushes and arbivores from the front to the back.

Jon is the best landscape professional I’ve worked with ever. He truly cares about your lawn and goes above and beyond to ensure you are educated about the weather and your lawn. You can pay less for someone to cut your lawn but you won’t find anyone who is more knowledgeable to help your lawn look amazing. I used a lawn service for three years who just cut my lawn and nothing improved. Plus he uses organic materials which is sustainable and environmentally friendly. Who could ask for more?

I reached out to Jon at New Earth Landscaping 2 years ago, simply looking to get my yard fertilized and treated for weeds. His pricing was comparable to other companies in the area, but he was more personable that others and his educational e-mails interested me. Jon is definitely passionate about what he does! I only signed up for lawn treatments, not his mowing or other landscaping services. However, I was still able to take advantage of his free blade sharpening and his weekly/bi-weekly e-mails were very informative -- I learned a lot about proper lawn care and how mowing at the proper height can help with weed control. I also signed up for aeration, but he determined my yard didn't need it. He did what was best for my yard -- not necessarily for his wallet. If you're looking for quality lawn care from an honest and passionate company, New Earth Landscaping is the way to go!

Jon and the ENTIRE New Earth Landscaping team have done an outstanding job bringing our yard to life. We purchased a year ago and the lawn was a mini jungle. It is now lush and thick green grass and only getting better! Weeds and bugs are controlled and now maintenance is a lot easier! Fully organic and pet safe ingredients do actually work! I have not applied a single thing from Home Depot since Jon took over, and it is totally worth it! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Customer service is outstanding too. Jon's email updates are highly informative. When you first get a walk through and he names every piece of vegetation in your yard and how it interacts with the ecosystem, you know you got the right team!! New Earth is great! What we love is New Earth isn't looking at your yard as a project to get done for just one year. They look at your yard as a long term project. They want your yard to be healthy and growing for years to come. Their team also built a retaining wall for us that was done quickly, with excellence, and at a cost we found reasonable. Highly recommend New Earth!

Jon approaches his work in a very detailed way which we appreciated given the wild swings in the weather these days. For example, he takes the temperature of the soil before moving forward on different ohases of his lawn care plan to make sure he gets the timing just right. He sends a weekly newsletter as well which ensures all of his clients are kept updated throughout the lawn care season. He’s a rapid fire responder to all questions and provided good advice on our landscaping when we needed to reduce what the previous owners had planted due to having limited time to maintain it. He even loaned us his own tools when we didn’t have them!

New Earth Landscaping did a great job cleaning up the backyard of a former rental townhouse we bought, restoring the grass and removing an unwanted volunteer tree from our backyard and installing a pair of holly bushes, dividing a day lily, and trimming the hedges in the front and side of our house. Our house looks great now!

I highly recommend New Earth Landscaping. Our yard looks beautiful, of course, but what I love about this company is that they do so much more than just mow the lawn every week. Jon cares deeply about the Earth and his devotion to our planet shows in every yard he takes care of. Our backyard was flooding whenever it rained. We asked Jon about installing a drain. His idea was SO MUCH BETTER! He created a rain garden for us, routing the drainage pipes from our gutters underground so they drain into the garden. He transformed an ugly corner of our yard into a beautiful space for us to enjoy. Here’s a photo of it in bloom. It’s been two years now and the yard has not flooded once. Problem solved — in the most beautiful way! Additionally, Jon’s prices are fair, he uses organic products and he is a pleasure to work with. I learn so much from his weekly emails, and I just truly appreciate all the effort and care he puts into everything he does.

For the past 4 years, John and his team have done phenomenal work at our home. When we started, we had numerous trouble spots in our yard - he knew just what to do and when - the results have been outstanding! He knows landscaping!! John was always responsive and kept us informed with newsletters on how best to treat our yard. He is also personable - he set up sprinkler timers for us after he had treated the yard. Whenever we had urgent issues, he responded immediately. And to add to that, he is very affordable!! I wish I could take him with us on our move!!
