I requested a quote for lumber to build a small structure. Colonial acknowledged the online request and promised a response the next day. Two weeks later and multiple sent emails, I’ve received nada. Business must be good to just Ignore potential customers.

Felix at Colonial Hardwood was a pleasure to work with. I had three kitchen designers come to my house and tell me that they could not match my existing cabinets I would have to replace all of the cabinets. My original cabinets are solid maple and beautiful, and I had no intention of replacing them. Colonial Hardwood matched those cabinets beautifully. The cabinets that they made for me, the six drawers that are showing, match perfectly to my existing cabinets. Plus, the cost of having Colonial Hardwood custom make my solid maple cabinets was comparable to the mid range stock cabinets that kitchen designers were quoting. Excellent work by Colonial Hardwood. I plan on using them again for another project. I highly recommended them.

Great find for some Ipe wood decking I needed for a project. This place has a HUGE selection of hardwoods, exotics and traditional woods. They can custom make pieces as well as sell you what you need. The customer service is amazing. I worked with Felix and another gentleman (forgot to ask his name), and they were so helpful in helping with the wood and even cut it down to size for me (for a very fair fee). I highly recommend Colonial Hardwoods for your wood needs, whether a homeowner or a contractor.

Price may be high but the convenience for me, and their outstanding service outweighs some of that price. Today I picked up a 4‘ x 8‘ sheet of Baltic birch and they cut it down to size at no extra charge. I’ve also use their milling services to flatten large glue ups like table tops.

Great source for woodworking projects. Wood of all kinds, bits, hardware, glue. Not a big box, specialized in fine woodworking. Also great source for non traditional wood and raw edge slabs. Plus, they carry Saw Stop and all sorts of router, shaper and other cutting heads. Far better than you will find in most big box.
