We had a very hot second floor that we simply couldn't solve on our own s we decided to have Comfenergy energy come out and inspect our house. We were assigned Carl as our inspector and we were sent a packet about a week prior to our appointment which was very informative. It also shared information about Carl and what to expect. When Carl did come to our house he did a great job explaining what he would do, asked us questions and spoke to us prior to the inspection. After spending almost 3 hours looking at many different parts of the house he came back and reviewed with us his findings. He was so kind to point out some HVAC issues we were having as well since he has previous experience in that. Overall we loved our experience with Comfenergy and I highly recommend you schedule an appointment with them.

Update 15Jun24: Their lifetime warranty is meaningless. They installed a sump pump discharge line into an uphill, causing water pooling, marsh, and a ton of insects in my backyard. Their warranty when explained to me (by John Parisi) said their handiwork, not hardware (ie sump pump and dehumidifier itself) was good for life. Well, I tried to call it in and they quoted me $900+ to install an extra 10’ of PVC outside to fix their installation error. When I mentioned the warranty, they said they’d be glad to lower it to $500 - that should tell you how much they stand by their word, and their pricing model. Wouldn’t waste your time. Update 31Jan24: Changed from the original rating of 2 to 4. Thank you for reaching out and resolving the issue. They did the insulation and water proofing of my crawl space. Work was fine, but they told me I would receive a discount for paying in cash (check). I did so, and they did not honor that discount. Fast forward 7 months now, they’ve asked me multiple times to leave a review. I responded privately asking about this price disparity and received no response. So here is your requested review. I’m not sure how deep your pockets are, but if I’m paying $20k for a home project and you promise me a $600 discount, I would like that money back.

Carlos and his crew were outstanding. Professional, courteous, very respectful and quite the gentlemen. Carlos and his team is quite an asset to Comfenergy - they are a testament to high quality workmanship and service. They were able to finish what would or should have been a 3 day job of complete removal of existing insulation, foam sealing the entire attic floor with enclosures for light fixtures, installation of radiant heat shield, installation of baffles, and thereafter blow in new fiberglass insulation in 2 days. Attic area is approx. 1800 sq. ft. Very satisfied.

I engaged Comfenergy to provide an estimate for installing insulation to my attic. The consultant I worked with Jesus Nunez provided enough information and pictures to ensure I was well informed on the work needed. Other proposal I received seemed inadequate in the information provide. The installation team took good care of my home. Tarps were laid, barriers were set up to prevent dust and dirt from getting in to the upstairs bedrooms. Melvin the team lead and the other workers worked well together. The work went smoothly, my house was neat and tidy when the work was completed. I highly recommend this company and commend then for a job well done.

Just wanted to let you know that Spencer did a great job with the additional spraying of the affected rim joists. He was courteous and cleaned up the area afterwards. No issues at all. Stephen, Carlos, Brenda and the rest of the crew did an excellent job. They removed old insulation in our attic and garage. All rooms below the attic were vacuumed afterwards. They explained everything before they did it and also cleaned up very well afterwards. Spencer did excellent work removing old basement rim joist insulation and installing spray foam insulation. He was great at preparing the work area, efficient in his work and did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. No issues were found with the area after he finished. He is also very good with discussing the work before he began.
