My husband and I engaged Affordable Custom Decks to build a deck in our back garden. From the initial planning and design consultation with Steve, to our experience with our carpenter Charles Johnston, the project was a dream. The end result exceeded our expectations. You won't find a nicer, more professional company than this.
We are absolutely thrilled with how our new screened room turned out. Steve worked with my wife and I to design the perfect space, which included Steve's key suggestions for changing out an exterior wall, going with a metal roof, and installing three skylights and two ceiling fans. AC Decks then sent out their dream team, Kevin and Connor, to make our dream design a reality. Kevin's workmanship and attention to detail is outstanding. We highly recommend AC Decks to anyone looking to create an outdoor space that will be treasured for years.

The team at Affordable Custom Decks did an excellent job building my new deck. Steve came out and designed my deck and gave me an estimate before he left. I really appreciated his assistance and advice. Within a few weeks, Charles Johnson arrived with a helper and built a solid deck with quality lumber. Within a week, they had completed my deck with a custom design and had provided me with a superior custom finish that had been sanded and ready for clear coat. I would like to thank, John, Steve and Charles for their quality work and recommend you call them first when looking for a new deck!

Steve drew up the deck plans in accordance with our wishes and Kevin and Connor coordinated their meticulous workmanship to build a beautiful deck. I would recommend this firm to go to first if you are looking for a new deck or other projects offered. They are reasonably priced for the products offered.

We are very happy with our new front porch! Steve came out to give us a quote and was very professional and organized. He asked us questions about what we wanted and made a couple suggestions on changes to our old design that we hadn’t considered and went with them. He let us know about how long it was going to be to start and then kept in touch as we need that time frame and when materials were going to be delivered. The delivery driver was a nice guy and got everything unloaded quickly. Work started the following day by Charles and his crew. Charles did outstanding work. He went above and beyond when he got some paint and painted some of the old posts that were not being removed to match the composite materials they were installing. Our timeline for completion was two weeks and Charles and crew finished ahead of schedule. We are very pleased with the work and design of our new front porch. Thank you!

Very grateful we chose AC Decks. Charles was notably thorough, worked incredibly hard everyday (even in 20 degree weather!) , and kept our yard clean. Our backyard is sloped, leading into a lake. So, it took extra time and effort to get our deck level and straight. Steve was communicative through our whole process, even checking in throughout the project to ensure we were happy. Although we may never need a deck again, we will (and already have) recommend AC Decks to friends and family. Thank you so much and we cannot wait to spend time on our new deck with the kids!
