This company is very unprofessional I do not recommend that you deal with Peter at all..he scheduled an interview for a new person interested in employment but then does NOT even show up....his employees are not very friendly and only said he had to go get his winter tires changed to his spring tires and must have forgotten about the interview what makes his time more valuable than someone else's...does not even have the respect to call and offer an apology...This place is not very nice at all...

A couple years ago I had a customer that wanted compost on there flower garden and wanted Peter's compost. I went to get some, there was 2 girls working there and they told me they couldn't load my trailer. They told me to come back the next day. I came back the next day and they loaded me. I had another customer yesterday that wanted some. I went down to get some and again two girls working that still had no idea how to run a tractor. They said come back at 8:00 and someone would assist me. Now it's 9:00 and I have been calling for an hour and a half with no answer. Thanks Peter

I hired this company last summer to plant 5 blue spruce, an autumn blaze maple, a white oak, 3 river birches and a dwarf river birch (for my garden) and couldn’t be happier with the quality and professional work I received. Peter was so knowledgeable in designing and suggesting the different types of trees for my yard. One tree didn’t make it, which they will replace since their trees are guaranteed for one year. Now entering the second year, I’m delighted to see the rest are thriving and showing new growth. I also have scheduled the fertilizing and re-mulching of all my trees. Even the ones they did not plant. It was a more expensive project than I had originally anticipated, but I now have many different trees attracting new birds and will have years of enjoyment watching them grow.

Nice plants and selection. We went and browsed for about an hour, picked about $200 worth of plants, and then went to checkout, but the cashier wasn’t there. Previously we spoke with her, so it was definitely the right checkout location. Waited for about 20 minutes before giving up. Pretty unfortunate, we were excited about the selection we had chosen.

Placed our order for the Christmas Remembered Swag on Sunday before Thanksgiving and received it Wednesday! This was our second swag from Nature by Design and first time ordering online, which was easy with reasonable shipping. It is the perfect addition to our front door and will last well into February. Thank you for your beautiful and quality work.

Employees are super helpful, kind and fun. The plants are very well cared for and displayed beautifully. It's a fun place to spend some time admiring a variety of plants in a beautiful setting.

Although their work is good the customer service is poor. We hired them last year for spring and fall. Paid them $1400 to do our landscape work with the promise to come back in fall and finish the project to seasonalize our beds. Then they would come back this spring and fall to keep it looking good. What they did last year was nice. But they never came back in the fall and never returned our calls asking why! We called 3 times this spring and finally got a call back with an apology and a promise to get to us in a week or so. It has been almost a month and no call! Apparently our business is not important. We have even recommended them to a neighbor before we realized they would not get back to us. The neighbor has called them three times and not received a call from them either. So if you’re not in a hurry and you don’t expect them to show up when they promise or at all they are fine.

Peter is very knowledgable and has a great knack for landscaping. I know everyone says but he's so expensive yes but you get what you pay for . Peter did all my design and landscaping and patio and it still looks as good as the day he put it in . Thanks Peter

Peter has an incredible eye for design. Love his selection of perennials in the summer, and shopping for Christmas decorations and wreaths at his holiday shop. Always find unique items.

Great selection of hardscape; stone, sculpture in a variety of materials and large planters. Good source of unusual evergreens and nice display gardens for ideas and inspiration. A knowledgeable staff is also very helpful.
