Went to buy a car in Bristol today. Was told it was inspected by Heffernan. Must have been a friend of the garage he said he owns a septic business in Bristol and he met me instead of his son who had listed it. Gasket was leaking oil breaks had rust and front lights were far too dim to legally pass inspecting. Don’t give inspections to cars that should not pass. I have exact VIN and model.
I woke up this morning to a flat tire. I have a BMW and normally have my car serviced and repaired at a foreign car repair shop in Burlington. A neighbor recommended Heffernans and they did not disappoint... In fact they went above and beyond for me today to get me back on the road and also safe for a drive to Boston this weekend. Super friendly, accommodating and honest. During the time I was waiting for my car to be done they appeared to be working in other last minute requests like mine and were passionate about helping their clients. Thank you.

Brought my car in for summer tire install and received it back with the tires installed on the wrong wheels. My car is an EV with different size wheels/tires front to rear and they mounted my rear tires on my front wheels and front tires on my rear wheels. The wheel/tire information is right inside the door jam and clearly they didn’t take the time to reference that.
I also brought them a freshly powder coated set of wheels with brand new tires to mount and balance but they never balanced them. Due to the size they assumed that they were for a trailer and not my vintage vehicle.
Poor attention to detail. Only giving two stars because the customer service is great.

This is my go to repair shop for all my vehicles. Great staff. Waiting area not the greatest but the service is always on time. Honest prices, never unexpected repairs.

3000 miles from “home” (live full time in my van and travel) and my van and wouldn’t start. They got me in with no advance notice and had me out the same day replacing my fuel pump driver module at half the labor costs of a California garage. Thanks so much guys!

Great communication. Told me what they'd do without me having to ask about details. They just laid it all out for me. Gave me a quote that was well explained as to how they got to that number. And when all the work was done, the actual price was a bit lower than was estimated. Would definitely go to them again.

Very friendly service. Honest with you about what your vehicle needs. I do the majority of the work on our vehicles, but when I need someone to do the work, this is where I go.

Excellent service!! Oil change, inspection, new tires and repairs... all services that Heffernan's have done for us personally and for our business fleet. These guys are great to work with... fast, friendly and reasonable!!
