We contacted Peter on a short notice to perform a Showing Inspection. He was quick to respond and schedule our appointment right away. The inspection was one hour and covered the most important aspects. Peter is very polite and professional. He uses a great service that provides a detailed report with pictures. We would absolutely recommend Closer Look Home Inspections.
We engaged Peter in advance of putting our home on the market for sale to identify and address any concerns. Peter provided excellent service, was thorough and timely in his work, and gave us an excellent roadmap to what we needed to have done. He was also very easy to communicate with and responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend him.

I'm so glad we hired Peter for our home inspection. He was wonderful to work with, very knowledgable, communicative, and professional. He spent a lot of time walking us through every corner of our home and wrote out a very detailed report with great photos. I would highly recommend Peter to anyone looking for a home inspector!!!

I am so happy to have hired Peter for my home inspection, what a guy: thorough, thoughtful, patient, so knowledgeable. He walked me through my entire home and property, explaining everything along the way — and doubling back to certain things or areas as I had questions about them or missed some info. As luck would have it, this is actually my second home inspection in as many years, and I wish I had had Peter for my first! The walkthrough with him was incredibly informative and very thorough, and his report was beautifully laid out and detailed. He even went above and beyond in composing an additional letter for/at the request of my mortgage lender - and being flexible and understanding as a conflict arose in our originally scheduled date. Just a super nice, super competent guy. Highly highly recommend.

Peter answered my many, many questions as he walked through the inspection with me. He was timely and professional, and cooperative when it came to COVID safety. His inspection report was detailed, included lots of pictures (with arrows pointing out the features of interest), and, like his website, was written in a way that was accessible to a layperson like myself. He was also very respectful of me being transgender. I would work with him again without hesitation.

Peter was incredibly thorough and willing to walk us through various details he noticed about the house. His report was comprehensive, thoughtful, and easy to understand. Peter was also very responsive and proactive about his communication. He is happy to talk over the report with you, answer questions, and address concerns. In addition, he has a very friendly and warm demeanor! I would highly recommend Closer Look Home Inspections because I trust them and they do great work.
