Excellent experience with Joby, definitely recommend hiring him for your home inspection. He was prompt, professional, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time to explain everything he was inspecting to ensure we understood and he answered all of our questions and concerns. He was very respectful and helpful with it being our first home purchase. Joby is top notch and produced a thorough report with pictures and details very timely. You won’t regret having Joby complete your home inspection.

Joby was very detailed and clear with everything. He was also inclusive in his review and encouraged us to ask questions and he showed us the major things while we were there. His report was long but easy to follow.

Joby was a pleasure to work with while inspecting a house we were ready to buy. Thank goodness we had him to show us major flaws in the foundation and structural integrity of this beautiful old house. We decided to pull out of this deal after only a half hour of the inspection; in my opinion there was no need to go any further than we did. I was allowed to shadow him and ask any questions on areas of concern. Personable, professional and 20 years of experience make this guy the one to use. We will use him again for the next one!

Joby inspected our home before purchasing. He was very friendly and very informative throughout the entire process. He did his job efficiently and got his report back to us in a very timely manner. We had an excellent experience with Joby, and we highly recommend him as a home inspector. He was thorough, explained everything to us in simple and understandable terms, and absolutely gave us the information we needed in order to make the right choice about the home we were considering. I had a great experience with Joby at Checkpoint Property Inspections! He was personable, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable. Joby was able to unveil issues and provide solutions for them as well, while articulating in such a way that wasn’t overwhelming to a first-time home buyer. He was communicative after the inspection and went out of his way to make sure I knew I could call him with any questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend and use again!

For a last-minute scheduling of a home inspection, Joby was fantastic!! He fit us into his busy schedule much sooner than anyone else we were able to speak with! Very friendly and helpful, he walked us through the inspection and explained everything in a clear and logical manner. He gave excellent suggestions on improvements to consider as we will be renovating, and his report was organized and straightforward. As a bonus, he had an already established business connection with our realtor and lending agent. Definitely recommend!!
