Got a quote of $5400 to put in 80 ft of chain link fence, office staff knows nothing about pricing and the guy that does the estimates showed up when I wasnt there and I feel like he saw that I'm just a regular working joe and said he couldn't even do it at first before even talking to me about what I wanted. Had to call and complain just to get him to come back and to a proper estimate. Shop around for better prices

We just moved to a new home in late fall and spent a winter with dogs and no fence and we were eager to get a good one installed as soon as we could. We tried Springfield fence but they NEVER called us back even when we went to the office so we called Pratico’s. From the beginning Skip was easy to connect with and understood exactly what we needed. He gave us a quote and had the fence installed by the date we needed it and we still haven’t heard from the other company! We are so so so happy with our new fence...it has changed our lives with our dogs and kids and it looks like it was made for our property and it will last for a very very long time! Skip came and looked at our property for all of ten minutes and left without saying a word. We didn’t hear from them for a week so we called and they told us if we wanted a quote we had to pay them $100! What a rip off and not the way to run a business. If you’re considering some fence or landscape work in or around Rutland, I suggest going with someone else.
