Excellent job rebuilding driver's seat in my dad's mustang convertible! Leather tint matched perfectly. looks like it just came out of the showroom. Way to go!
Darien provides some of the best customer service ever and he has a keen eye. I wouldn’t trust my furniture or any creative upholstery project to anyone else. Don’t be put off by the industrial showroom off 1st Ave. He does 1st class work.

Sure do know their business and products!! I had 4 bar stools for which I had paid a pretty penny a few years back but the upholstery was really falling apart. I was really torn as to whether I should just buy new chairs or get the ones I had recovered?? The chairs fit my space nicely and had even been custom cut for height but sometimes you just felt like you were sliding out of them. A friend recommended Burien Upholstery and I had the opportunity to see the fantastic the work they had done for her. Took me a couple of trips to the shop to find the fabric I liked. They were never pushy but answered all of my questions. We discussed my concerns with the stools and gave me some suggestions on how the chairs could be rebuilt/built-up. Finally I picked my fabric. They warned me that getting the fabric could take several weeks. In a couple of days I got a firm bid for the fabric, rebuilding/contouring, recovering the chairs and replacing the swivel mechanism as 2 of the screws had sheared off (I didn't even know that - someone could have fallen off the chair if it had actually failed) . Called to confirm I still wanted the work to be done. Well it did take about 4 weeks but once the fabric arrived the work was completed in less than a week. I'm very happy with how the chairs look and sitting in them is much more comfortable not to mention safer. The work was not inexpensive but at least now I know the quality of the fabric and construction of the seat. I know these chairs will serve me well for a very long time. Highly recommend Burien Upholstery.

Darien who actually did the work is fantastic. He gets 5 stars for not only his workmanship, but his attitude as well. I had the tubing on a vinyl boat cover reworked for my 1959 Glasspar boat and it came out perfect. I had him recover my upholstery 17 years ago and it still looks amazing. Highly recommended.

This place is great. I'm a caregiver to seniors and the senior I care for told me he whent here to get his passenger seat covered so his handicap wife can more easily slide in and out. The man took measurements called him a few weeks later and installed the cover. He said no charges! He was happy to help him and his wife. Wow, kindness like this is a rarity. Thank you it has made such a difference in her comfort.
