First time using a pest control company, and I had a really good experience. Mike Lee came out and assessed my bee situation for free and determined that additional work wasn't actually needed. Really informative and responsive to all my questions - I now know a lot more about bees! Also, nice to learn that they're a small and local family owned company and not a large corporation.
My mom has used Aard Pest Control for several years and has always been very happy with the service. This summer is different. She was not very happy with the service the last visit and was considering choosing another pest control company. I can't say if she leaves the door open too long to feed the squirrels or if the service didn't get the product applied well this time but there is more spiders inside the house than usual.
My reason for 5 stars is that this ONE time, there is some spiders in the house. Outside the perimeter is a different story. I help with my mother's yard work and have not seen any crawling insects in the flower beds or at the house foundation yet the bees are still active pollenating the flowers. Mom called AARD customer service to find out about the spray application done the last visit. The customer service / receptionist, Sharon?, on the phone was extremely polite and helpful with describing what service was performed and explained the entire bill to my mom. Sharon genuinely apologized for the spiders and my mom's dissatisfaction, then offered follow up solutions to resolve the spiders. The fact that it was a live human customer service person on the phone who was patient and kind to my 85 year old mother and not the typical confusing useless cascade of robotic phone menus other businesses use, was priceless and earned AARD the 5 star rating. Thank you AARD!

We were very happy with the service of AARD! Kayte was our technician and she came out to inspect the new home we just bought for any rodents (we weren’t sure if the home actually had an issue). She was very knowledgeable and thoroughly inspected our home. Really appreciate the honesty and transparency of this company!
