Get your mower blades sharpened here - he gets it done quickly unlike other local shops who make you wait a week or more. Very friendly service too. Have been a patron here for decades, and its still a great place to do business!
A-1 Rentals is a small operation, but don't let that fool you. The owner, Steve, goes above and beyond every time we rent any equipment (which is multiple times every month) and the prices are easily the best in town.

Great service and always very helpful and knowledgeable. The owner; Steve has been there for more than 20 years and knows his equipment. Highly recommend supporting our local small businesses.

I needed to take out a laurel hedge, and decided to grind up most of the materials. A-1 had a good-sized grinder for a reasonable price.
I made a reservation the night before and the equipment was ready day of. I experienced a problem during my project and A-1 let me switch out the equipment at a really crucial point in the project, which really saved the day for me.
Staff were very friendly on the phone and in person, gave a good explanation of how to use the equipment and their location is very convenient for downtown Olympia area.

These guys have kept my 18-year-old lawn mower going way past its intended life span. A-1 is the first place I think of when I need to rent any type of power equipment or a trailer. Great locally-owned business.
