Dane was professional and informative. Our home was built in 1979 and this was the first time we had used a service like this. He advised we seek some extra help which we intend to do before using our fireplace.

I will absolutely not be using this business again. I had a previous experience with this company that was wonderful and referred them many times since. Sadly this will not be the case going forward. In this last experience the tech that came out to the house was an absolute delight again and when he left he let us know that he would be going back to the shop and getting us a quote. We called at the end of the day to follow up on the quote and the owner herself was exceptionally rude. Not only during the phone call we initiated but she actually called us back again to tell us how her company does not provide quotes the same day and how her business doesn’t work that way. She followed it up with herself admitting she was not the company for us and seemed appalled as if we should already know that’s how she operates. The saddest part about this review is that I would love to be writing a very nice one as the technician who was dispatched to the house was wonderful to work with! I even called back the next day to address my complaint with the company in hopes for a resolution.. which is sadly when I found out my complaint was with the actual owner! I guess the conclusion to this is if you only have to deal with the technician it’s not a bad company but if you ever actually have to call the office and deal with the owner or need any services beyond a traditional cleaning I would highly highly recommend going elsewhere. She is very lucky to have the employees she does creating her reputation. I however will not be giving her anymore of my money.

I had a chimney fire at my old home. My ex-husband was wrong when he told me "chimney cleaning is a rip off". I knew Chimney Doctor was the right choice for the repair when they phoned me to remeasure my fireplace opening because their hydraulics code was giving them strange answers. Yes! They run computer code to make sure you have enough draft for a safe chimney. I moved and bought a house with a fireplace that had not been used in years. Had Chimney doctor do the repairs and they are courteous and give an accurate and honest estimate.

I normally wouldn't do this but I will. I don't have one single bad thing to say about this company. This goes against the norm to do, but I am the owner of The Chimney Guy. The chimney doctor may be my competitor but he doesn't sling muddy comments and neither do I. He is just as reputable as I am. Someone keeps slamming his company and promoting mine on my website and I won't tolerate an unhonest review even if they are trying to help. I will delete any and all reviews good or bad if they are false and I didn't myself write them. I understand the chimney doctor to be experienced and quality giving just as I am. Energy Source touts themselves as higher quality and great service. Our experience included multiple calls to get ANY service and when the cover track separated from the concrete we learned they'd used screws that rusted instead of stainless steel. Definitely not a company I'd recommend. Note the only 5 star review is them reviewing themselves.
