We had a great experience with Puget Sound Solar. The sales person really was great at explaining the process and understood our needs. The price point was similar to other proposals but what sold us on Puget Sound Solar was:
1. Clear communication and a dedicated project manager
2. Quick turnaround -they were able to install our system within several weeks of our acceptance of bid
3. Local to Seattle
4. best warranties (beyond the equipment manufacturer warranties)
The install went very smoothly, only took one day and the team left everything super clean.
Like the other reviewers, I can't say enough good things about the overall experience. From the initial contact, to coordinating with inspectors, PSS has been right there for us.
I was especially impressed with the installation crew who demonstrated excellent teamwork and professionalism. And, they completed the whole install and system checkout in a single day! Even better, all of the products are manufactured in Washington.

We recieved 4 quotes from various companies around the area. We worked with each quote provider and decided to go with Puget Sound Solar. This was a great decision. The communication was clear and consistent throughout the whole project. The work ethic and quality of work done by their install crew was top notch. Everything was explained to us at the time of install and the app provided is very user friendly. We are excited to start producing power!

In our quest for Solar, we sought bids from (8) companies here in South Seattle. One "no-bid" because we have a torch down roof, another "no-bid" due to supply chain issues. The others were using a variety of panels from three different sources. The price points had about a $5,000 spread, for similarly sized panels arrangements.
In the end we chose Puget Sound Solar for three reasons:
1 - Responsiveness to answer both technical and financial questions.
2 - The Panels, REC 405W, were the ones we think will stand the test of time. Made in Norway.
3 - A strong recommendation from a prior customer about how they were treated during the whole process.
In the end, the referral we received was accurate. PSS employee Dan Rogers kept us in the loop all the way and Jake Shields is always available for Q&A on anything related to the system.

Puget Sound Solar was great to work with. They were very fast to come out to my home and do an in person consult to talk about the project and answer any questions about the solar process I had. They provided several different options for the project that I could choose from and were very helpful in providing me with enough info to make the right choice for my energy usage. Communication with them was always very easy and they were very quick to get back to me whenever I had questions. The installation process went smoothly. I have been very satisfied with the solar panels so far. An overall great experience. I would highly recommend Puget Sound Solar!

We did a panel + service upgrade together with our solar install with Puget Sound Solar, and they did a fantastic job every step of the way.
We appreciated the responsiveness and professionalism from each member of their team: from sales, to project management, to the installation and electrical teams themselves. All of the work was performed on schedule; everything went smoothly with no surprises or hiccups.
One big reason we chose Puget Sound Solar is that they have their own in-house installation and electrical teams. As a customer, you can see this clearly in the high quality of their installation and electrical work.

After getting 5 different bids we decided to go with Puget Sound Solar, so glad we did. Friendly, great communication from start to finish and quality work. Roof looks really good with new panels and are working well. Looking forward to recommending their services to others!
