My wife and I had a lawn removal project done with metal edging, pathways, and top soil added back - and the Simple Lawns crew that did it were AMAZING! Major shout out to Igor, Valente, and Jesus for an excellent job. They worked well through the day and even setting up lights to continue working until the job was done. They were flexible with us as we made some design changes, and they accommodated every ask we made. As they had finished in the dark, the crew came back the next day to ensure our paths were cleaned, and everything was raked out. 5/5 stars in our book!
Update - 1 year later
Still love it! The plants have filled in. Every couple of weeks another plant comes into bloom with a burst of color. We're seeing honey bees and birds. Bringing fresh cut flowers inside. And our dogs are loving sniffing whatever visits yard overnight!

100% recommend! On time, on budget, professional start to finish. I had an overall idea of how I wanted to replace a boring grass and river rock front yard with a more natural-looking, sustainable landscape. Had two conversations with David, and his team installed exactly what I wanted, including drip irrigation! I could not be happier!

My experience with Simple Lawns was great. I worked with David, Igor, Alex and Luis. Alex and Luis did great work to my front and back yard, while Luis and David were phenomenal with answering any questions I had for them. Would recommend these guys to anyone!

Oleg did a great job for us, both in landscape design and managing the project. The project was completed at reasonable cost, within our budget, and in reasonable time. If we have a landscaping need in the future, we will definitely call Simple Lawn.

If you’re looking to have landscape design, highly highly recommend simple lawns. The pavers are absolutely stunning and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Oleg was amazing and communicative from the start and went above and beyond to make us happy. Igor rocked the project management side and the two workers were incredible. Fast, diligent and did exactly what we we were hoping for. Thank you so much team for making the vision come to life. A few pictures :)

Working with Simple Lawns was an easy experience. They did a great job installing front and back sprinklers with Arborvitae and a drip irrigation system. I’ve had no issues with the system so far and they’ve been friendly and helpful through the whole process.
Big thanks to Santiago and Diego for being so professional and quick with the install! Also big thanks to Igor for getting everything setup and answering all the questions I had. It was hard work for them but I really appreciate it.

Simple Lawns recently completed our backyard project and were a pleasure to work with every step of the way. We worked with another company in the past for a separate project and attributed some interactions and situations to “industry standard”. (As that is what we had been told.) That being said, we knew going into this project we wanted to work with a different company. Simply put, Simple Lawns far exceeded our expectations.
David, Igor, and the rest of the team were so respectful and responsive from the moment we began the process. Their prices were fair for the project, and you could tell the team genuinely cares about the work they produce and their clients’ satisfaction. It was clear after the project was completed, Simple Lawns doesn’t abide by the “industry standard”, but instead sets a standard of their own above the rest.
We were very pleased to have worked with Simple Lawns on our project, not only because of the great work they produced, but also because of the integrity demonstrated by their company.

Simple Lawns just completed a project for us, and we could not recommend enough.
Each step of the project was easy, thoroughly taken care of, and put us at ease. From the initial consult with David (who came out not once, but twice at our request), to the project managing with Igor (super communicative and keen eye for detail), and to the amazing crew of Marvin & Diego (thorough and meticulous with years of experience), we would suggest you look no further than these guys.
They really provided an all-in-one shop that allowed collaborative design discussions and updates throughout the project to make sure our vision was clear and produced a final product we are excited to use (and show off).
Zero surprises with pricing as well, and you can tell they want to make sure you're happy. Trust me, go with these guys.

Oleg (landscape designer) was the shining star. Being an excellent communicator, always arriving on time and being cheerful and positive in every interaction was just the beginning. I was thrilled that he managed the entire project from the initial visit through installation and follow-up.
PLANNING: Oleg helped me with the landscape plan, making excellent suggestions, promptly answering my millions of questions, cheerfully revising plans as we went through the process and he built incredibly beautiful custom cedar planter boxes for my space.
INSTALLATION/Follow-Up: Oleg also provided oversight for the project during installation, and quickly and cheerfully ensured that any questions or issues were resolved. The crew really hustled, and completed the job two days earlier than expected. They also left the entire space immaculately clean at the end of each day.

We used Simple Lawns to install sod in our back yard and correct a pathway corner. David, Igor, Alberto, and Serafin were awesome to work with! They went above and beyond to get our project done.

Had a pleasure dealing with Vitaly from Simple Lawns. We had an emergency where a tree fell on our home in the winter storm and out of 4 companies that we spoke to Simple lawns was able to get the situation taken care of promptly along with making sure safety was met every step of the way!
After removing the tree, they applied plywood and tarpped the roof ( even though we did not agree to that initially ) They even made sure to clean the premises from any debris and closed off their tracks by spraying seed on the grass that was walked on. Once again shows how they go above and beyond!
Customer service, honesty, integrity 10/10! Would use again!

Simple Lawns, did an awesome job cleaning up and fixing things. The lawn was a mess, but they made it look super neat and tidy. Eduardo and his team also did great with the construction work, making everything look good and solid. What’s cool about Simple Lawns is how they keep you in the loop and sort out any issues quickly. If you need someone for your lawn, Simple Lawns, especially with Eduardo, is a solid pick.

Gorgeous work by Antonio and crew on my landscaping, the backyard now has the atmosphere of a park and the front garden beds and bushes are manicured perfectly. Everything was methodically done and the work was top notch, couldn’t ask for better, no corners were cut.
David was great on the initial consult and was fast to respond both initially and to multiple additional follow-up requests. Really easy to recommend Simple Lawns for your landscaping projects in the Clark County/Portland Metro area. Best landscape crew I’ve encountered by far after many misses in the past.

Really amazing experience with this landscaping company. We’ve been wanting to put in a retaining wall and fence, new sod and plants for years, and they helped us make this a reality. Oleg led the design and planning process throughout the project and was a complete joy to work with— extremely responsive, friendly, and creative. He came up with design concepts we hadn’t even considered, and everything looks beautiful. The primary crew, Cilrilo (on-site project leader) and Armando, were extremely skilled, hardworking, friendly, and patient with our questions. They worked quickly but carefully and clearly are passionate and knowledgeable about this work. All of our neighbors commented on how excellent their work was and how kind and considerate they were. We’ve had so many people walk by and stop and tell us how amazing everything looks. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with this company again, and I’ll recommend them to everyone I know. Thanks for an awesome job!!

Simple Lawns is a fantastic family run company that cares about your satisfaction. David meet with me several times to understand what my wife and I envisioned as this was a complete makeover of our front and rear landscape. The plan included removing all the old lawn, transplanting some existing plants, adding all new sod, adding new irrigation, over 70 plants, and paved pathways. We worked and re- worked the design and plant list based on David's expert knowledge of what grows well in shade and in sun and how big they will grow in the years to come and what they look like as the seasons change.
When work began Ricky, Felipe, and Armondo were the experts that made it all happen. They were polite, knowledgeable, and accommodating to my "fine tuning" of the project as things went along. I can't say enough good things about these 3 gentlemen. They were fun to work with.
When it was all said and done Simple Lawns followed up to make sure my wife and I were satisfied. We absolutely loved the finished project and while we are already enjoying it we also can't wait to enjoy it as the plants mature in the years to come. BTW, my neighbors think it looks fabulous as well.
If you have taken the time to read this long review I can only guess you are seriously looking for a great landscape company. Please take my sincere recommendation to hire these people. You will be very grateful you did.
