We worked with Colby Construction for both our new construction home as well as a kitchen remodel, and I can’t say enough about the quality of the Colby team and the work they do. Our first project with Colby was when I had a 2-year-old and a newborn and many thought I was crazy to take on the stress of a new construction project, but our experience was excellent. Pete and Terri were so involved in and helpful with every detail, from design, to selections, to being at the job site so frequently, which made the entire process run smoothly. The quality of workmanship and responsiveness from Lance and the finish carpentry team was also outstanding. I loved that I could describe an idea or vision to Lance (such as a last-minute addition impromptu wine bar built into a great room bookshelf) and that he could just create something unique and beautiful. I absolutely love our Colby-built home and would recommend Colby Construction to anyone.
We recently had the pleasure of working with Colby Construction on building a detached garage, a boathouse, and renovating our house. From start to finish, the team was a joy to work with—always approachable, honest, and full of valuable design and construction advice. Their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the project. Communication was top-notch, with consistent follow-ups that kept us informed throughout the process. Now that the project is complete, we’ll certainly miss them. Highly recommended!
