I’m a very satisfied customer and I’m very happy I chose to go with Adams to purchase and install our Generac 22kw whole-house generator. Our salesman Ryan was fantastic. He came out a year ago; he was very knowledgeable and took his time thoroughly explaining everything to us and happily answered our questions. I appreciated that there was absolutely no pressure to buy and it didn’t feel like I was listening to a desperate sales pitch while talking to him. The install crew was also great. They were very respectful of my property and cleaned up after themselves. They too were very knowledgeable and answered questions my husband and I had after the install. I had two other well known companies come out to give us quotes, in addition to Adams. One was more expensive (exact same product) and the other was awful — they never even came to our house. They communicated strictly by email and tried to sell us a generator entirely too large for our home and needs. Yikes! I can’t imagine doing business with that company. I look forward to continuing to work with Adams for our maintenance and repair needs! Thank you again for everything. Having peace of mind knowing that we’ll never be without power again is worth every penny.

Crew showed up on time and confirmed with me what they were installing and where things would be located. They even asked about some flowers close to the switch box location to which my wife quickly dug out and transplanted elsewhere. When they finished the job, they cleaned everything up then explained how the generator works. Well done! Bring on the next storm outage!

We purchased a generator for our home from Adams and could not be happier with their service and expertise. They made the process so easy and the staff who completed the install were professional, helpful, and efficient. The install turned out even better than we anticipated and we were so impressed with their ability to integrate everything into our home to make it appear as though it has always been there. We are happy to have peace of mind with our new generator and are grateful for Adams and all of their help.

We highly recommend Adams Power for a Generac Generator. From the first call to schedule an estimate to the completed installation it was 5 Stars. Our salesman Jack was very professional and extremely knowledgeable regarding generators and the installation process, and very patient with us with all our questions. It was going to be a bit tricky to get the natural gas and electric from the laundry room/furnace room (middle of house) through the rec room ceiling, under basement steps and out into the garage to the far east wall of the garage. Jack came up with a plan. We decided to go with Adams Power for several reason; not just lower quote, but our friends’ recommendation, our salesman Jack, the maintenance done by Adams gives a longer warranty by Adams, and we liked the option to save 8% if you pay cash, that was a huge savings. We opted to go with the 22KW generator that will run our whole house, well pump, furnace and A/C along with anything else we want, just like we weren’t running on the generator. There was approximately $600 difference to go from a 18KW to the 22KW. Worth every dollar. The initial day of installation everything went smooth; transfer switch was installed and generator sitting in place. When they went to run the gas and electric, the tricky part started. They couldn’t get the gas and electric run and they were unsure Jack’s plan would work. We didn’t remove our ceiling prior to their arrival so that hindered them installing the gas and electric. It was a misunderstanding on our part. It was later in the afternoon so they called it a day and we would reschedule for the gas and electric installation. Jack reached out to us right away the next morning to schedule a visit to make sure his plan was good. We knew what part of the ceiling needed to be removed and proceeded to have it removed. Jack schedule the second appointment and made sure he was here to work with the crew to install the gas and electric. Jack was instrumental in getting the gas and electric out into the garage where the crew finished up the job, his planned worked great. It was great to see a more experienced person training and showing less experienced people so they learn the tricks of the trade. They showed us how the generator works, how the transfer switch work, and ran the generator so we could hear how loud it was. Not much louder than a lawn mower. GREAT JOB BY ALL; and no mess at all. As a side note: We were without power for approximately 7 hours during the initial installation so we ran our portable generator for our sump pump and two refrigerators. We can not be without electricity to our sump pump as it runs a lot. So now with the generator and two sump pumps in the crock, we have a great peace of mind to keep our rec room dry.
