Sweaty gym turned coffee cafe'...is this possible? That is the question I asked myself before purchasing this plain rectangular building. My husband and I knew Borton Construction was known for their quality work, especially in the restaurant industry. So, I proceeded to call Borton, asking if they would be willing to look at the building before we purchased it. Dan happily accepted! We then looked at the building, to see if my vision was possible...it was. Dan and the Borton team, worked to get all things in place, so when we closed on the building they were ready to start demo to build my vision. Dan knew it was very important to me to "stay local," so he put his West Salem and Sparta guys on my project. The Borton team was so easy to work with and for the most part, everything went smoothly. Since this was an old building, there were bumps in the road, but communication was always prompt resulting in a quick solution. I feel Borton went above and beyond when they took the time to find "old" material, to give this plain jane building the character I was looking for. Sweaty gym turned Coffee Cafe' ? Hell YES, that is Oma! I am so proud of my shop and I owe it all to the Borton Team.
Lastly, this company treats their customers like a true friend. During the start of the COVID pandemic, they took the time to reach out, to check on me...this speaks volumes! Not only is Borton Construction a great group that strives for quality, they genuinely care about their clients as well.
We recently worked with Borton Construction on renovating a century-old building and was impressed with the quality of their work. The craftsmanship displayed in preserving the historical elements while integrating modern amenities was exceptional. We appreciated their ideas and help in troubleshooting and overcoming some of the challenges associated with remodeling an historic building without compromising our overall vision for the project. We are very pleased with the outcome.

I have worked with Borton Construction on several multi-family developments and cannot recommend them highly enough. My organization works with multiple general contractors throughout the country, and Borton has become the gold standard for what we look for in a partner and contractor. Even during unprecedented times of cost increases and supply chain challenges, they have delivered high quality developments on time and under budget. Borton has a commitment to customer service, is extremely responsive, and takes a collaborative approach to problem solving. They are well respected in the local community and beyond, and we look forward to continue working with them moving forward.

Borton Construction exceeded all of our exceptions. They were hired to tear down and rebuild our Castle Realty Headquarters building in La Crosse, WI. We were a design build and they helped with cost saving ideas and all the finishing touches. Jim and Charlie were great with communication on timeline and budget. I would highly recommend this locally owned business.

Borton Construction is an exceptional construction company dedicated to quality of service and workmanship. Borton has a high degree of integrity and treats every project as if it were their own. They are deeply committed to meeting project timelines and working within budget parameters. I highly recommend them for any project of any size.
