I am the same person who left the 1-star review with photos. I reached back out to Michael at MKE Top Shop when I saw his response and willingness to fix the mistakes he made. Michael did not answer any of my calls or texts. I drove to his shop to see him in person. He was very cordial and assured me that he would fix my tops in the next few months when business slowed down. That was in December; it is now May. I began calling weekly in February with no response. I'm somewhat certain that he went out of business. His phone line is disconnected and website is gone. The lack of professionalism or even common courtesy is mind-blowing. DO NOT give this man your business. He does very poor work and will ghost you if you ask too much.

I am not satisfied with the quality of this work. Mike was a nice guy to talk to and work with. But he did not tell me that he was not a Tops installer until the day he came to install my countertops. And it shows. There was silicone residue left all around my sink, some measurements were too short and didn't leave room for accent trim, and the backside of one piece was not finished with laminate. See attached pictures. The bar top was not level or rigid when he was done. When I asked him to fix it, he screwed a small piece of wood into my wall rather than installing metal bar brackets. I had to install the bar brackets myself for support and patch the hole in my wall from where he screwed in that piece of wood.
