We were visiting my mother in law in Madison (81) and while there, an electical circuit went out and we could not figure it out. I sent my mother in law and son out to lunch and decided to call Helping Hands to see if we could get help that day. I could not believe that within 2 hours they had a tech at her house. I explained the issue and that my mother in law is a bit unreasonable, but they reassured me they would handle everything with care and understanding. Jake was great with her, explaining the problem, what was required to potentially fix the issue and the price. Due to our own plans we could not have anyone there for them to fix it that Friday afternoon, but they were able to get her on the schedule right away Monday morning!!! My mother in law was so impressed with Pete, she called me asking how I found these guys, and they were "Amazing!" - my mother in law never says that. Ever. If I could give Helping Hands 10 stars, I would. Thank you for handling a situation that normally would send my mother in law into a spiral, and making it the most positive service experience she has had in years!! Thank you!!

Jacob looked at what had to be done came up with a quick bid which was very reasonable and acceptable. He was very knowledgeable let me know what's going to be done gave me suggestions and we signed the paperwork. The work has been completed and it looks great. Very honest and trustworthy, he did a great job and I would have Jacob back for any needs that we have that are electrical. He even laughed at some of my stupid jokes.

Exceeded our expectations for fast service, excellent and kind technicians who gave us same day price quotes and completed our requested work. We had a ceiling fan installed by Jacob (Jake) and his crewman (sorry I'll edit in his name later). They also were able to install a light over our garage. They even replaced the switch and outlet in the garage that they said looked old. We not only felt like our home was respected, we feel safer knowing they looked after our safest interests, not just how they could get finished. We will definitely call them again for any other projects and recommend Helping Hands to any of our neighbors and friends

I probably have a few other reviews up if you scroll, but I stand by my reviews. Every type of project from major to minor; installing a new box , mast and ground, to installing outlets or new exterior lights and cameras. Most recently, it was removing old (and dangerous) baseboard heaters with some really complicated wiring on an old addition. They have always exceeded expectations. Prices are fair, they give me options for the projects in various price ranges, give good advice, they are prompt and efficient, their technicians are super knowledgeable (shout out Peter and Jacob), and I'd guess that about 45% of my 1950's home electrical has been redone by Helping Hands. It was the first contractor that we used when we moved here and bought a house. They were a fairly new company back then. We grew as a family and they grew as a company. They earned my trust then, and they continue to have it now. Cheers and keep up the good work!
