I had a wonderful experience with Northside Electric. Mark was punctual, very easy going, has lots of experience. He did the lighting project at my house excellent at great price. Not only that he advices about the new law on electricity usage or equipment installation. More importantly he has time to listen to your problems. I will definitely work with him in future.
John from Northside has done more than a dozen projects for us over the past 8 years, from simple and small to large and complex. He's great to work with, incredibly knowledgeable, and skilled at what he does. If you have an older home with potentially complicated electrical work, these are your guys. Northside's prices are also very reasonable.

Had a problem with an outside outlet not working. They made a great recommendation to replace with a newer style as well as exterior housing to keep moisture from entering the outlet. A very professional company and will be calling them again.

Holy cow!!! Customer service is alive and well. John came to my house to determine why my kitchen outlets were not working. He was in and out in less than an hour. He could not have been more pleasant or polite if he tried. Mark returned my initial phone call in less than 5 hours. This was such a good experience for me.

Mark was super helpful, friendly, accommodating of an urgent request, and very responsive and communicative. Without hesitation, I would recommend him/Northside Electric. All of my electric work will be going to him from now on. He kindly shared other contractors he trusts.

They upgraded some outlets and added one, did excellent work at a fair price. I was very pleased. A month later I tried to schedule more work with them, but they just don't answer the phone and that is the only way I can find to reach this business. They called back and left a message once. I gave up after a half dozen tries. Northside does good work - if you can reach them.

Very pleased with the work that Mark and John did at my house. Both are professional, polite and do quality work. We had some scheduling hiccups on my end (covid positive) but they worked with me to flex and reschedule in a timely manner. Pricing was quite reasonable as well. Communication was very good though not super timely, but I do understand how busy this small shop is, and the challenges therein. Highly recommend, and will use again.

Mark was so great to work with. He was responsive and kind, and moved our appointment the morning of--he was so flexible. He did the work quickly and it came in under estimate. I would highly recommend Northside Electric!

I recently had a contractor removing a bulkhead in our kitchen area and he accidentally cut one live wire that needed to be repaired and found one wire that was unused and needed to be capped off. Seems like a pretty simple job. I called Wire One, was charged a $70 service fee, and was told it was a difficult issue and the estimate for the fix was almost $2000 and would result in 3 outlet boxes in my ceiling. Not ideal! I passed and called Northside Electric for a second opinion. They were friendly and professional on the phone, and the technician was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He quickly determined the problem was similar to what I thought it was, and a somewhat minor issue. He was here for about 2 hours, fixed the issue without leaving awkward outlet boxes in my ceiling, and even optimized a situation he noticed with another switch on the same wall. We were charged a couple hundred dollars, which was what we were expecting for the issue. They were honest about the issue we were having without trying to inflate it to increase revenue. I would highly recommend Northside Electric and will use them going forward for any future electrical issues.
