Update #2: After canceling service in July, I received an email stating that our service was canceled. We were charged again in August and contested that charge. Called customer service again and was assured the issue was taken care of. Just received another charge for service today. Called customer service again and they told me that even though our service has been canceled, we will continue to be charged until the local dealer picks up the bait traps. It's been two months and they still haven't come. So now I am in the process of once again contesting my monthly charge. Customer service said that even though I have an email from them stating my service is canceled, they can't control if the local vendor doesn't come to pick up the bait traps. I am beyond frustrated and have now escalated this to the BBB. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!

Update: After all of the issues we had trying to cancel this service last month, we just got billed again! Now I have to go through my credit card company one again to dispute the charge. I even have an email verification that our service was canceled last month. This company is unbelievably bad!!!

We bought our home in September 2022 and continued service from the previous owners. During that time, the service was terrible. 3 different technicians and none of them knew what the previous technician had done. Had a problem with mice and technician found a bait trap that was completely empty and wasn't filled from the previous technician. Spent 2.5 hours on the phone with four different customer reps people trying to cancel the service. We never signed a contract and they could not produce one, but wanted to charge us an early termination fee. Just received a bill today for service this month that was never performed. So frustrated and can't wait to be done with this company. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for pest control service.

Worst customer service. No one shows up when promised. Just take your money and don't honor their promises to arrive when they claim they will. I just contacted for a full refund. Save yourself the headache and hire another company.

Two years ago, I had mice problems at my condo, and the HOA agreed to cover the issue due to poor ceiling conditions from the outside. The property manager assured me that she would handle everything, and Terminix was initially great, sending someone out promptly. However, the moment after they placed the traps and attempted to reseal the entry points, it became a nightmare. The issue wasn't resolved, and according to my property manager, it was nearly impossible to get in contact with Terminix regarding their services and billing.

Four months later, she received a bill for over $2000! She tried to reach out and dispute the bill but to no avail, as they were ignoring her calls. When Terminix realized they weren't going to receive their money without talking to my property manager, they decided to strong-arm me by threatening to send someone from a collection service, insisting that "I'm a big boy" and someone had to pay.

Never again will I ever use Terminix. They were extremely unprofessional and horrible.

I swapped to Orkin, and they charged me only $40 for the entire process, ensuring that both the exterior and interior of my unit were mice-proof.

Why did I wait so long to write this review? Because that's how scared I was when they were constantly threatening me.

This company is awful and I would never recommend anyone use them.
They will make an appointment tell you there is an $85 trip fee and give a 2-3 hour window for them to show.
I took off work waiting 3 hours for a no show , when I called they said my appointment was lost. Didn't offer to try and get someone out right away and would not wave trip charge even after I lost 3 hours of work time.
Garbage company with no consideration for customers.

I never post reviews but I am hoping maybe this will allow me to get a response from Terminix. I paid $2,600 for bat exclusion service from Terminix in Madison, WI. They spend a total of about 4 hours at my home. The sounds went away. Then, the sounds returned. I contacted the person that did the exclusion and they said they would return. They missed their appointment and do not return phone calls. I called the Terminix customer service and they stated that they are not returning calls because they do not have appointments available. I stated that this was unacceptable and they stated they would have someone phone me in 3-5 business days. I asked to escalate the problem and after putting me on hold for 10 minutes they returned and stated it had been escalated and I would be contacted in 2-4 business days.
This is absurd. Terminix was great while trying to get the order. Now that they have my payment, I am no longer important.

AVOID TERMINIX!

They answered all our questions, even ones we thought of after they left so we texted them later. They really did a great job. Highly recommended.

Originally called because I heard mice in the attic. They came out and did some work and that seemed to help. Several months ago I had called because we heard a squirrel in our attic, and we could see where it was getting in. Someone did come out and put in a one-way trap/door to get the squirrel out, but they have never come back to remove the trap/door and patch the hole. Then for the last several months I would get a call from Terminix saying that they wanted to schedule a time to come out to my house to check on our mice situation. I would tell them they could come at any time because we are always home. They would then ask if they needed a ladder, and I would say YES, and then they would say that the person that called me couldn't schedule the appt, they would have to call me back to get someone with a ladder to come to my house. Then they would never call back. This happened THREE times. Then a week or two ago I got an email saying that a Terminix rep had been to my house about an hour before and had checked and found no mice at my house, but NO ONE had been to my house. I had been working on my laptop with a view of my driveway, and no one had come to look at our house. I then called the person's number that was on the email and left them a message that they had in fact NOT been at my house and to please call me so that they could come out and actually do the service that I had paid for, but they never called me back. I am VERY disappointed in the service I have received from Terminix and would not recommend them to anyone. In the future I will hire a local company or person that will actually come to my house when they say they will, and will only charge me per visit, versus a huge fee for a year long contract. What a waste of money this has been.

Service was fine but when I needed to cancel it, I had to talk to someone and couldn't just do it online. And after a month of being told it was cancelled, I get charged for another month. That is not the kind of customer service we should be getting from a trusted company like yours. The technician was friendly and good however.
