H J Pertzborn was excellent. I only wanted our tub replaced. Todd, the gentlemen that came out, listened closely to what I wanted. The following week they gave me an estimate, that was within what I wanted to spend. The lady I worked with was very helpful. She was able to find the exact tub I wanted. Todd was super nice. I would highly recommend H J Pertzborn for any project.
Matt was great and gave us some really honest and detailed advice, after fixing up our messed up drains. Felt like we were in good hands!

Pertzborn is amazing in all ways. They came to my home almost immediately, on the day after a holiday, when the other plumbing co’s I tried were closed, and found my diamond earring. Jesus and apprentice Patrick were prompt, professional and diligent, it took several tries to release the stone from the garbage disposal but they were successful! They put it all back together in record time and I could not be happier. From the office staff to the specialists my experience was exceptional. Thankyou, Pertzborn you are the BEST!

HJP did an excellent and expedient job! I needed drain lines cleared and televised for a property that I am purchasing to determine if there were any cracks / leaks. They were out there that same day. Great quality service.

We had a first-rate experience with Pertzborn Plumbing. Our garbage disposal died and when I called Pertzborn’s number, a friendly gentleman quickly scheduled an appointment for a plumber to make a house call. Within two days Matt arrived and expertly installed our new garbage disposal. I appreciate how he came prepared with a disposal in hand. I will definitely be calling the folks at Pertzborn for ALL of our household plumbing needs, moving forward. They are an excellent value!

We had a great experience with H.J. Pertzborn. They patiently answered all our questions and completed a big job with minimal disruption of our lives. Their plumbers were knowledgeable and took the time to show us everything they were doing. It was great to work with a company with integrity as well as experience and skill.

Shaun came and replaced our toilet last month. He also looked at another toilet that was having issues. Wow. What a kind, hard-working, knowledgeable and professional guy. Our whole experience with H.J. Pertzborn Plumbing was impressive. They are a class act and they know their stuff.

I had them replace my 15-year old water heater in early 2023. The new water heater with same capacity and same electrical setup runs out of hot water in about half the time. They couldn't figure out why after two return visits; ended up saying everything was working correctly, and sent me to the water heater manufacturer for further questions about why a brand new water heater was outperformed by one that was 15 years old. The manufacturer was no help and proposed doing the same tests Pertzborn already did. When I again ask them on the phone why my 15 year old water heater could fill up my tub with hot water and still provide hot water for a shower downstairs when the new one runs out of hot water halfway through filling the tub...they didn't have an answer. So basically I have a brand new $1600 water heater and can't take two showers back to back, wash clothes on hot and then take a shower, or even fill a small bath tub that's smaller than the water heater itself with hot water. I will say, however, that the guys they sent out for this job and the follow-ups were courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. Scheduling was straightforward and they showed up on time.
The office staff was also helpful and willing to hear me out. Because of this I gave the water heater several months of use, hoping the issue would resolve itself. Sadly, it hasn't.
My old water heater that actually still worked after 15 years was installed by WF Butler on Monroe St. Best to go with them if you need a new water heater.
**It's several months later and the problem persists. I could fill my entire tub with scalding hot water with my old water heater. I just tried it with the water heater Pertzborn installed and the water ran cold halfway through filling the tub. Still no word from Pertzborn here or via call. Unhappy customer.

The work performed was done well. It looks professional and works well.
My only issue was cost. I was shocked at the material cost and upcharge on that. I was also surprised it took 3 hours to install a small stationary tub (But I wasn't there to watch what all was happening).
It was over $800 (excluding the tub/faucet).
The plumber also said he would secure the sink and did not.
I will say that I should have gotten it quoted before I did the work. Lesson learned. But the work was done well.
