I rarely leave a review but felt it was necessary.
We are a middle/later aged couple who debated between asphalt and a metal roof. Understand that not all meatal roofs are (3’ x long lengths) sheets that look like long sheets of roofing. Nothing wrong with that but SMR sells and installs metal roofing that looks like traditional shingle/shaker roofing…...but it lasts forever! Literally, “The last roof you’ll ever need”. ?
Mike’s crew of 7 men; (yes subcontracted), were on time, courteous, and worked 3 hard 14+ hour days as they raced the weather. Communication was never an issue and they let me know every day when they were going to be there and what they were going to try to accomplish that day. We were amazed how smooth this went as storms wandered through! We left our doors open as we got a ‘good feel’ from their lead that they were trustworthy from the moment they showed up. I’m not sure if they used our bathrooms, etc but if so, they left it cleaner than they found it if they did! Awesome, awesome group of guys with a great sense of humor! Our trust was not misplaced!
Mike checked with us everyday…. many, many times … to make sure everything was going well. Honestly, he was so concerned and between Mike, Mary and Jose, it was kinda overkill. ? To be fair, I got the feeling before we bought that this is the type of company they run, so if you go with them, expect a fair amount of contact from beginning to end.
I am so frickin happy with our new roof! My better half is ecstatic with our new roof. The best part is it truly the ‘Last roof we’ll ever need’…. unless we have a tornado. ?

Last fall, we had Swita Metal Roofs put on our new metal roof to replace our old asphalt damaged roof. To date, we couldn't be happier with the outcome. Mike, Eric and his team were fantastic - they did a stellar job and were super friendly and respectful throughout the whole process.
The quality of their work is top-notch. They paid attention to every detail, and it really shows in the final product. Plus, they kept us informed at every step, so we always knew what was going on.
Our new metal roof not only looks great but also provides excellent protection for my home. And no, it doesn't make it louder when it rains... or at least no noticable difference. I highly recommend Swita Metal Roofs to anyone considering a metal roof. Thanks again to Mike, Eric and the team for a job well done!

Couldn’t be happier with my roof recently completed and the weather allowed to install the beautiful Metal roof before Christmas. We've only had our roof for a few days, but we love the way it looks.Turned out just beautiful!. My wife works nights and the crew worked efficiently and did a good job not making to much noises for her and my son to sleep in the morning they were very polite, professional, respectful and efficient. Mike, the owner of Swita, is a very generous and a great owner to work with he provides the best service and product for my needs. I personally recoment Swita Metal Roofing for your next project.

This company was a pleasure to work with. Mike was easily accessible by text and email and phone. He came by to chat with us while preparing our quote and had plenty of options for us to choose from. We went with standing seam coil roofing, and he gave us a couple nearby houses he had done to drive by and check out some colors and what it would look like. He managed to schedule us a lot sooner than we expected, which was nice. The crew of 4 arrived at 7am and got straight to work, managing to do our whole roof in a single day (it wasn't a complicated job, though). They took good care of the roof, making sure that it was sound before covering it up for what we hope will be 50 years. They got lots of pictures as well, so we can refer back to them if needed. They cleaned it all up at the end of the day. Then Mike followed up to make sure it went well and came by to inspect the work himself. I feel like they did a good job taking care of us. They were professional, experts, and fast.

I worked with Mike Swita in the past, and when I needed assistance with a bent gable on my 2015 installed aluminum roof I contacted him. Within two days he sent out his crew to take a look. The fix was minimal, however I was extremely impressed that they took the time to check the caulking as well as how everything looked on my 8 yr old roof. Very efficient!

Everything went as planned. Mike was very responsive from the start. He showed up within a couple of days of my initial contact and he walked me through the metal roof process, shingle and standing seam options, and the overall timeline. The installation crew were a good group of people who knew the specifics of metal roof installation. All they do are metal roofs, so they are very good at what they do. They cleaned up the site at the end of each day and left no trace. I was overall very impressed from start to finish and I'd recommend Swita Metal Roofing to anyone interested in installing a metal roof.

My experience with Mike and his crew could not have been better. We live in a Victorian house with a steep roof. When our roof was damaged in a storm last summer, most roofers would not even quote the job due to its difficulty. The process with Mike was timely and efficient. He came to the house, showed me roof samples, made recommendations, gave me a ballpark idea of cost, and followed that up days later with a written estimate. The work commenced on time and the crew was friendly, clean, and unobtrusive. The best part…my new, beautiful roof. The end result exceeded my expectations!

I hired Swita Metal Roofing, and they were fantastic from start to finish. Mike obviously knows his stuff, and together with Mary, they communicate regularly and clearly. I knew what to expect at every point in the process. His crew was courteous, professional and excellent craftspeople. They did a very nice job with my roof, even set aside my weathervane for me instead of trashing it. It's the little things that make a difference with a small business. Mike and Mary are very personable and they take the time to listen. I especially appreciated that the crew stuck with my project until it was completed, and didn't leave it in a state of disarray to spin up another job. That kind of planning and commitment is much appreciated. After the project started, my neighbors have come by to have a look. They can't believe it's metal because it's not standing seam, what they're accustomed to seeing. I'm very happy with my roof.
