They had the generator I needed but three different electricians couldn't get for nine months from the manufacturer. Excellent ordering experience and quick delivery to the spot of install. Thank you.
Very helpful in getting us the part we needed to keep our Generac generator running. They saved us from having to replace our entire generator system because our repair technicians told us they could not find the part we needed. We made a call to AP Electric and Generators and they had the part in stock. It was shipped out promptly and our generator has been running great ever since. Thanks so much AP Electric and Generators! Highly recommend this company for their great service.

I am very satisfied with the overall experience, delivery was seamless and installation was done by myself (retired EE). This is a somewhat complex piece of equipment and is above the level of expertise for the average DIY'er. I will have more to contribute once propane is connected and unit fired-up.

It’s a shame. All I need is communication.
The generator order started out great. Estes lost the shipment however and it arrived with internal damage, unseen until housing was taken apart to anchor down. Non of which is the fault of AP. My issue is with their follow up customer service. I’m over three weeks getting them to contact me. I’ve also attempted to speak to the owner three times to get some answers on warranty (plus other calls). He will not return my call. I then sent him a message on LinkedIn.
I’m a business owner; If my customer service was this poor, I’d go broke from lack of repeat business.
Kohler Generator: It appears to me that the manufacturering process (probably a vendor for Kohler) for building the engine / generator mounts (there are two) is very poor. I don’t think Estes (shipping) mishandled the unit at all. The neck area of the mount is very weak and broke. Seems a google search shows a few of the same issues.

Purchase was simple, called with questions about needed size and they were very helpful. Shipping was fast and communication was exceptional. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in market for great deals. I saved hundreds compared to other sellers online & local.
