I cannot say how pleased I am with the services provided by Dean's Electric. It started from the time I requested a quote in early 2021 for a whole house emergency stand by generator, electrical service upgrade, running a new circuit for microwave, and running a circuit and installing a ceiling fan. They were the only ones to answer their phone without having to leave a voicemail and wait for a return call. Dean came to provide a quote that was accurate, detailed, and priced competitively. We had recieved several quotes but Dean was the only one who offered to come on site making us confident in the quote which was what sealed the deal. Dean was very responsive to all emails/questions and was was extremely patient as there were weeks worth of delays in getting a new gas line/meter run by the gas company that had to be completed first. On the day of install the crews arrived timely, worked efficiently, and had everything done in about 5.5 hours. They also were very professional and courteous even with my 6 year old son having tons of questions. They left the site cleaner than they found it and even did a fantastic job replacing the paver sidewalk they had to trench through outside. Most people can't even tell it had been removed. We have only needed the geneator 1 time very briefly since install in middle of 2021 but everything is working great. Will definitely recommend and use Dean's Electric in the future when needed.

We lost power from our main panel, and had Deans come out to look at replacing the service cable to our basement. We knew it was the cable because we have a home generator that was still working to power the home and everything inside. A tech came out and said he was going to "troubleshoot". He must have hooked up a new breaker, and did it wrong because when he turn the main switch on he blew out our appliances and all the lights in our basement, I had to tell him to shut it off because a ballast was smoking and the panel had half the fuses showing orange. He proceeded to run a temp wire, which was not necessary due to the generator. They came out and ran a permanent wire the next day, which is all we wanted from the start. It took 28 days to get an invoice to send to the insurance company, during which time the claims adjuster contacted them multiple times. When they did finally talk to them Deans had said the appliances and lights were blown due to the wire before they did work, which on the phone with them, and with the Tech at the house they knew was not true. we lost the claim for the wiring and lost our deductible due to their negligence. Considering the low amount it was not worth it to pursue small claims, and we need appliances since we were out them for so long. Communication was ok at first, but there was no reconciliation or anything from Deans. Funny thing is it took 28 days for an invoice from them, but they cashed our check in 3. Edit: There was adequate time to look into this, there was never any actual response from them to this review as posted below

I was very impressed with the work that was completed by Dean's Electric. I found them to be 100% professional from the first time that I called. The office staff is amazing in helping answer your questions and setting things up. The electricians were very professional. They explained everything that they were doing and when they completed the work, they explained how to use the new equipment in terms that was easy to understand. When they were finished with the work, they cleaned everything up as if they were never even there. I would definitely recommend Dean's Electric for any electrical work and I will use them again in the future.
