We recently had our backyard patio expanded and remodeled. The project was complete with the installation of an outdoor fireplace and a variety of new landscaping/plants, by Nate and his team at Four of Six. We couldn't be happier with the results! Nate and his crew were incredibly easy to work with and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the entire process. Nate and his team did an amazing job with our backyard! They finished the project right on time (maybe even early) and we're going to use them to help out with some work in the front yard soon! They transformed our backyard space into a magical wonderland and we finally enjoy spending time out there with our family! This was an investment in our home and outdoor space that will last for many, many years and we're so happy we worked with Nate and his team. They were super responsive and easy to talk to, and fun to have around!

Nate and his crew were wonderful to work with. We inherited an overgrown and neglected yard. Nate worked with us to create a landscape design that complemented our older home, gave us privacy in a busy urban location, and includes a lovely stone patio and perfect spot for the grill. Not only did we get all of that, it was done in a timely manner and with excellent communication. It was a pleasure to work with Nate. I would highly recommend him!

We had several things we wanted to accomplish with our backyard renovation. Being that we added our hot tub after the patio was poured it took up a lot of our entertainment space.
We wanted to add seating and dining space, we hoped to utilize more of the yard and we also wanted to soften the huge boulders on our sloped lot. Nate created a plan that would maximize our uniquely shaped entertainment space while making it feel like an outdoor extension of our main space.
We were able to add in design elements such as the live edge bar, the Instagram vine wall and the blue stone wine barrel fire pit that reflect our entertainment personality. I can't wait to see all the plants come in. You can see a full video recap of the renovation is on our blog bit.lyBoulderBar

So glad we found Four of Six and Nate to design and build our patio. We had some ideas of how we wanted our patio to be used and a couple design ideas, but couldn't decide on an overall plan or design. We talked to multiple companies, but Nate was the one who, right off the bat, took what we wanted and came up with a beautiful and unique design. He gives you options within your budget and makes tweaks as needed too. The patio looks exactly like it shown in the renderings he made. We love that Nate focuses just as much on the planting as the hardscape. For other companies, it seemed like a bit of an afterthought. The patio, planting beds, customer service, everything is first rate. We love using our patio already, and can't wait until the plantings mature. Would definitely recommend Four of Six to anyone.

I hired Nate and his crew to replace my outdated front block stoop and brick walk. He provided drawings from our initial meeting and walked me through the process.After a few design changes we got on his scedule, and I was impressed to see them work through on and off again rain in order to get the job done. Nate is very detail oriented and has a great eye for design. He has installation experience that adds to the quality of the finished product, including making excellent angle cuts to really make the project look great. I highly recommend Nate and 4 of 6 landscape

Brian and I are so very happy with the experience we had with Nate. Nate's attention to detail shows through in the final result. We were able to work through the project from start to finish and felt that Nate really listened to us. Nate was on site everyday, and was hands on for the entire project-this is truly impressive. We will not hesitate to recommend Four of Six to all of our friends. Anyone looking to have a project done should consider using Four of Six.

Nate created a masterpiece outdoor living space that suits our lifestyle perfectly! From the initial design discussions and throughout the entire project he communicated every detail of the process with enthusiasm and professionalism. He created a stunning design and gave us many options to consider in materials and landscaping plants. His workmanship on site was outstanding! Nate is a whiz on the engineering mathematics involved. The project was staged and materials delivered in an organized manner with no interruptions or delays. All work was done with attention to detail and excellent craftmanship. Nate is also very knowledgeable about plants and their care and the nursery stock he planted has already provided much enjoyment. We absolutely made the best decision in hiring Four of Six Landscape! Nate and Steve made the whole project fun and educational to watch as it evolved and now we get to show it off with pride!

Nate with Four of Six Landscape did an awesome job on my backyard patio. The design was fantastic and it was executed flawlessly. Nate is very concerned about "practical" matters like correct water drainage/movement, mowing ease, and maintenance. So he keeps all of these things in mind when designing. And he is an excellent designer! My patio is unique and fits perfectly in the smallish space I had in my backyard. I've gotten rave reviews on the design and I can't wait to use it all summer! Nate will also work with you on budget considerations and always gives options and is flexible about doing things differently if you have specific preferences. For example, maybe you can defer part of the project to next year. But he will give an opinion on what he thinks will look/work best. Nate is also very honest and easy to work with, and has great attention to detail. He was recommended by my builder and I never felt the need to get other quotes/designs from other landscapers. I highly recommend Four of Six Landscape!!!!

Nate's design ideas were wonderful in softening the hard angles of my front porch/walkway. He added 3 large boulders that gave great dimension to the overall concept. He and his crew were prompt, respectful, and incredibly hard working to complete my project. Nate kept me informed at every step. He is very knowledgeable not only about the materials but also the plant care and maintenence. I would highly recommend him!

We could not be more pleased about the work Nate did. After our first meeting with Nate, he followed up with a thank you email, and a timeline of events that he would be doing. He then designed and created a beautiful sketch of our patio that fit our budget . He also created a 3-d model on the computer to give us a better view. Nate helped us pick out materials and brought them to our house , which was even better! He gave us his honest opinion to help us in these difficult choices. After our design plan, and material selection was made, Nate started to work immediately, and would email nightly about what work was completed each day. He left the job site clean each night. Nate completed the project in a timely fashion, and he even had to deal with snow and 80 degree heat!!! After the project was complete, Nate gave us thorough directions on how to take care of the plants, and how to build a trellis. We have gotten so many compliments from friends, family and neighbors. One neighbor said, " This patio looks like it should be in a magazine.!" We met with numerous contractors and could not be more happy with our choice of Four of Six Landscape. I give them my highest recommendation. If you chose Four of Six Landscape you will not be disappointed.

Nate and his team did an incredible job at our new home. They were professional, courteous and accommodating for all the changes we made throughout the process. The paver patio craftsmanship is excellent and everyone who sees it loves it! Nate has a great understanding of plant horticulture and landscape design. Very impressed with his knowledge. I appreciated that he really listened to what we wanted and customized the plan to our needs. Well done Four of Six Landscape!!!

We are extremely pleased with the work that Nate did for us. He listened to what we wanted in terms of landscaping and then offered his suggestions. We ended up with a beautiful design tailored to our desire for a low maintenance, natural look. Nate is very easy to work with and have around during the project. He and his team work very hard to get the project completed efficiently and thoroughly. Several of our neighbors have hired Nate after seeing the work he did for us. Nate is great. He does honest, excellent work at a good and fair price. Nate designed our entire back yard and he's helped us maintain it since he and his team finished the work. We vetted three different companies and Nate was the only one that didn't fall under our expectations or blow the budget out of the water with unnecessary items. He also had good ideas for strategic placement of plants to get the most out of the shape of our yard. Great communication and great service. Couldn't ask for a better experience; guess that's why we continue to do business with him and recommend him to our friends.
