A1 Garage Door came to house for free scheduled garage door check-up as a follow-up from maintenance done last year. Young man called to say he & partner were on way. They had to stop at gas station & did I need anything? I should have said a case of Snickers, thank you. Techs did inspection. I corrected their assessed age of parts with a 2020 paper invoice. The tech did say he found the same invoice on his tablet & realized the parts were from 2020. They recommended replacing 4 hinges due to hairline cracks that in time would render the door inoperable. I decided to take them up on their offer to replace. They also talked about the age of garage door & opener. Gave me info on replacing both. They spoke about a possible credit for past work, including payment for an expensive spring, with a life time warranty, that was replaced by A1 as recommended by another tech, in 2023, who didn't explain that if the garage door were ever replaced, the spring wouldn't be useable. All really made me wonder if I had made the right decisions. As Al would say, one grows so old too soon, too late, too smart. I would not use A1 nor recommend them again.

Called A-1 on Saturday Night for a broken spring. They offered to come Sunday but we couldn’t do Sunday. Travis was onsite by 8:30am Monday and had me up and running by 10:15am with a lifetime warranty part and new rollers for the tracks. Travis was personable and hardworking. He took care of us and our garage is now working perfectly. I’m thrilled with my A-1 experience!

A1 serviced our garage door and Corey Pawelka was AMAZING!!! . He was very professional, called us in the morning to let us know approximately when he will be over. He took a closer look and told us exactly what all needs to be repaired. As he was completing his work he asked if we had any questions and walked us through all the steps. He was super nice to work with and very professional. When he finished he showed us how everything works now and sent us all the instructions along with pictures. A1 is awesome and would highly recommend for any garage door needs.
