John Keener has inspected multiple houses for us and is always extremely thorough with his inspections and very knowledgeable about any potential issues, explaining anything you might want to know and making sure you understand each issue and how important it is. His reports are very detailed and include pictures so you know exactly what he is describing. He is knowledgeable of current building codes, noting what meets and what doesn't. He's not afraid to get dirty to get where he needs to be and see everything possible about a home. He will find all issues and potential issues, large and small, guaranteed. John is always a pleasure to work with and truly cares about what he does and the people he serves. I can honestly say he's worth every penny of what he charges and have recommended him to anyone needing a home inspection, and will continue to recommend him.
John was incredibly helpful for our recent home inspection. He took the added time to explain everything to us. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and great at passing information along. The quick communication through this process was amazing. 10/10 recommend!

John Keener is extremely thorough and takes his work very seriously. I am very happy I got my home inspection through him and Mountaineer Home Inspections. Can't ask for a better service and very prompt in getting the inspection report over and explaining. I'll never use another home inspector.

Hiring John for a recent home inspection was a great idea. Having him on our home buying team is an asset! He's super knowledgeable and very friendly and quick to educate you on things around the house, not to mention he is solution oriented. The next time we need a home inspection, you'd better believe we'll be using him!

John from Mountaineer Inspection services was Fantastic! He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough! As a new home buyer, I was worried the most about the home inspection and it turned out to be a great experience and the best money spent on the entire home buying process. I now feel very confident that I know what I'm buying, the issues at hand, and possibly in the future. I received a huge report will a ton of pictures and details of everything. He welcomed all of my questions and even gave me recommendations and tips on fixing the issues I asked about. He wore a mask and kept his distance from my family and I during the inspection. I will definitely use this company in the future and highly recommend to everyone I know!!!

Cannot recommend John enough. He is a true professional, with all of the latest tools/gadgets to complete a very thorough inspection. He walks you through each level of the house and explains each of his findings, addressing minor details that can be put off to things he finds more concerning. He answers any questions you have throughout the whole process, and even points out unique characteristics about the house. He sent the completed report with tons of pictures over the same evening of the inspection, and answered any additional questions the same day. If we purchase another house in the future, we will definitely be contacting him again!

We had a home inspected by John prior to purchase, including Septic and Radon testing, and he did a fantastic job. He is very clear in his communication and honest with his feedback. He does a very thorough job and walked us through every issue, big and small, with the property and made suggestions and/or explanations. He answered every question we had, and turned around reports for us very quickly. Don't hesitate to use Mountaineer Inspection.

John provided a thorough, professional inspection and took the time to not only explain everything to me but to ensure I understood each of the items notated.
