DO NOT DO A HOME INSPECTION THROUGH THEM!! MUST READ! I bought my first home in February and hired them to do the inspection. They reported that the roof was in tact and did not have any issues. Well, the first storm that I had since moving in, there were leaks in my kitchen and guest room. When I called a contractor to take a look at it, he informed me that the roof was in one of the worst conditions he’s ever seen. Stripped pieces of metal lapped over each other, three different sized screws on the metal, used FlexSeal to cover up the leaking areas, wrong sized boot for the vent and chimney. IT WAS A MESS. This issue could have been fixed if Porch Light Home Inspections did their job, but clearly that wasn’t the case and I (a new homeowner) just paid thousands of dollars to get the roof totally replaced. If you don’t want to be like me, find another inspector. I AM NOT HAPPY.

Inspection was thorough, answered all of our questions and alerted us to some small issues with our new construction home we hadn't noticed. Turnaround on the final report was very quick, and Keith went over it with us in detail to make sure we understood all of his findings in the report and their potential ramifications and what should be done to rectify them. Keith was also very flexible in scheduling a time for the inspection, as contractors were still coming in and out of the home to finish up construction. Highly recommended!
