I had an issue with my Generac generator- I live an hour away from them - I wasn’t expecting it but they came promptly - diagnosed - were so professional and speedy. I can’t say enough about how thankful I am for their service.

I have had Crites Electric install four Generators over the past 7+ years
I chose Crites Electric because the have the 1. Highest Generac Rating
2. They are city gas permitted
3. Good prices
4. They do what they say.
Crites Electric gets it done, they bring all the parts, they are the best
You can not let your electrician buddy install your generator because
1. Do you have the right gas pressure, for when your hot water tank fires at the same time as your generator?
2. Does your buddy have a Natural Gas contractors license so the city and the gas company do not shut you off in a snow storm
3. If you have “free” gas from a well — you really need an expert if you want your generator to last
4. Did your buddy take the classes on properly grounding your generator
5. Will your generator work when the power is off all over town and there is a demand for gas and all your other appliances are also putting a demand on your generation

Owner extremely rude and abrasive from the start; not helpful at all to a newcomer with how to get necessary gas line to generator but, then again, neither was the gas company. It all combined to make me even unhappier with the generator company.
