Until today I would have given them great marks for CS.

Last week determined we need a new carburetor but told could not find one. Grossenburgs led me to RDO in RC. If we waited on an order it would have taken a week. We pick it.even got a vet discount. Handed it over. Was ready the next day by 4. Great brought it home and use 20 mins to ensure fixed. Put away,, won’t start 2 days later. Razor says sorry no charge bring it in.

I remind them they did not fixed the tire last. Learn they are waiting on a tube. Got fixed and sat at the tire store 4 hrs. So I pick it up and paid for it.

Manager starts yelling I took her business away and don’t come back. Angry I tried to help by running for parts and moving a tire back from repair to save them time. Hung up on me when I was trying to say I would save them time and bring the tire. Bring the tire and gave me tude for 5 min mount and loss of maybe $50 in markup. Already paid them $120 in repair time.

I would have offered them another $50 in labor if the manager had stopped yelling at me. I was not trying to save their fee as much as I was trying to get it when I needed it. Again if she stopped yelling at me and stopped accusing me of breaking it but had no specifics I would have paid more.

Well 3 hard used equipment won’t be coming here ever again.

Highly recommend. Cannot express how much I appreciate their kindness. We’re on a cross-country trip and I was pretty sure I killed my generator. I asked if they’d be willing to ship it to PA if they can fix it eventually (they’re busy). They said sure, but also asked how long we were in town.

Understanding we’re just passing through, they asked their generator guy what he could do, he listened to how I overheated it, and said sometimes that kills it, a compression check would be quick, and the only thing he’d have time for - we did that and unfortunately he was right, I bricked it. But now I know I need a new generator, which I wasn’t sure about.

They let me leave the broken one there for spare parts and didn’t charge for the time. Getting bad news in a kind way takes a lot of the sting out - these guys are great.

I've rented a few things from Razor city rental. There reasonable with cost. The only thing is if you rent for one day, say like a Thursday and you find out you need it for another day. Ask them the difference in cost. We rented an air compressor, found out we needed it another day and bring it back Sat. afternoon. 3 days charge. I asked what if I return it Friday morning. Then rent it again Friday morning through the weekend till Monday half as much. But if I wouldn't have asked they weren't going to tell me. Just saying ask questions other then that good equipment.

When faced with an opportunity to support local business, my husband and I always try to support our locally owned and operated businesses.

Our very recent experience with renting a backhoe from Razor City Rental was the first time we have had such a terrible experience with one of our fellow community members.
We picked the backhoe up on a Friday morning and after multiple verbal confirmations and reassurances that it was definitely possible and 100% okay to drive the backhoe to the construction site, we got it to the site.

Our operator was able to get started with the dig. He mentioned everything kept locking up and the progress was too slow as the equipment didn't seem to be in great condition. Unfortunately being the trusting people we are and thinking "oh, well there is no way a local ran business with glaring google reviews would hand over bad equipment right?" On Saturday morning my husband was able to oversee the job as we had to find out for ourselves whether we did get terrible equipment or not. The day was spent attempting to contact Razor City Rental by phone (voicemail was left) and running around town to purchase grease and hydraulic fluid. To our dismay we found that the operator was right. We were sent on our way with a backhoe that most definitely has not had an oil change in at least a year, maybe even more. None of the pivot points were greased, the hydraulic fluid was none existent and the filter had gone a very long without being changed. There is a full day of paying an operator to run equipment that keeps choking out and stalling and no call back even though the website states Razor City is open until 1:00pm on Saturdays. Monday was the same, no digging could be done as the equipment wouldn't work. Another day of paying an operator to not operate. We also had no follow up on our voicemail.

Tuesday morning I was able to call and finally get through and speak with Ryan. When Ryan was told what was happening he had the audacity to let me know that "I'm pretty sure that was serviced last time it came back in." When my husband was able to get a hold of him, he of course changed his tune to I never once or no one said it could be driven to the site (false). To top of this terrible experience and for blindly trusting a supposed great business we now have to pay for the useless piece of equipment.

If you are in the business of renting equipment that may or may not work, you have found the correct place!
