I cannot praise AWS Services enough for their outstanding work on repairing the cracks in my garage. From start to finish, their professionalism and expertise shone through.

The cracks in my garage were a constant worry, and I had tried various DIY solutions without success. However, AWS Services came to the rescue with their crack injection repair method. Their team meticulously assessed the situation, explaining the process in detail and answering all my questions patiently.

The actual repair work was carried out with precision and efficiency. The team arrived promptly, equipped with top-notch tools and materials. They demonstrated a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every crack was properly filled and sealed. BEWARE!! AWS would have to be the worst contractor I have ever had to displeasure to deal with!! They were engaged through a project manager to undertake waterproofing and sealing works on a residential apartment block in Melbourne, and it could not have gone worse. Delays of months through 2023, incompetent labour (I would not call them tradespeople) who did also not conduct themselves properly, non-compliance with the design and poor workmanship resulting in rework, and multiple frustrations getting them to repair unsatisfactory work. The director, Carlos, promised many things on many occasions to rectify the situation, but did not deliver and failed to improve. This included onsite supervision of work, which we agreed to pay for but was hardly ever provided, resulting in incompetent people doing substandard work. Water leak testing failed after 'apparent' completion of various parts of the work. Eventually and due to continuous frustration, we agreed on a mutual termination of the contract. Subsequent engagement of tradespeople to rectify the many remaining faults resulted in uncovering of further defects due to incomplete and unsatisfactory work. A disaster that has cost the body corporate and building owners significantly.

Provided labour services to help them complete a local council job, 3 weeks work, extremely disorganised company, working with 3 other companies sub-contracting, all 4 companies struggling to get paid, 3 companies quit during the job, and the site supervisor.
Would recommend extreme caution when dealing with tis company.
Our company is still owed approximately $30k.

AWS Services provided me with the poorest communication I have ever had from a contractor, and seem to place little importance on integrity.

When I say "poorest ever" I'm comparing that to a lot of contractors. Through my work I have contracted over $1B of works as principal, from small contracts in the thousands to contracts in the hundreds of millions. I like to think I can pick good contractors and my projects are delivered on time and under budget, at least until this one. I chose AWS Services for some work I needed done personally, and I regret that choice.

The works were meant to be done in a couple of weeks and took many months. I literally never heard from the Project Manager who was appointed after one phone call early on where he called me instead of the site contact because he couldn't find the job. After that - he wouldn't ever answer his phone or emails, and I would call the office regularly to ask for him to contact me and he never did. If it wasn't for the fact that I had known past clients of theirs I would have believed it was a scam and that there was no AWS Services, and my deposit would never be seen again.

Once the works did eventually commence, communication was still non-existent, and then when my agent was able to speak with the PM or team on site by literally visiting the site to find someone, they were told lies. The job dragged on and I was caused significant revenue loss without explanation as to why. I lost the equivalent of 25% of the value of these works. AWS Services did not deny that their PM had caused these losses through breach of our contract.

The real test of a business is not how universally they perform well, it's how principled they are when things go wrong. I rate AWS Services poorly in that regard. I didn't insist that they compensate me for my consequential losses (not that our contract excluded them). Instead, I simply said that they should propose a reduction in their fees that reflected their assessment of how well this job aligned with their principles and standards. They picked zero, so I paid them in full. They did at least apologise, which I appreciate.

If I was generous I could say that perhaps this just wasn't a job of the right size for them, but in fact I think they are a company you should not engage for a job of any size.

Aside from the PM, I did deal with a Tabatha and an Erica from the office, both of whom were very courteous, clear, and effective in their communications when after the job I eventually managed to get onto someone who would listen. It would have been nice if the people actually involved in my project could communicate that well.

I was thoroughly impressed with AWS Services throughout the process of rebuilding and waterproofing my foundation. I met the estimator before the job at my home multiple times and he walked me through the process. We continued to communicate on the phone throughout and his team was very professional and respectful of my house and my space. Taking into consideration the disappointment of having to rebuild a foundation, I couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend AWS to anyone who needs foundation work done.

I've had nothing but problems with this company. I had the job done about four years ago now and they've come out to attempt to "fix" it about 6 times. The surface just keeps bubbling up and they have patched it with different colours so my balcony is a mess of bubbles and patches.
