I have to say I had a great experience with Empire drywall, I have a pacesetter home that I had built and whoever was contracted to do the insulation didn't quite do their job properly as all my windows had to be redone and insulated and all my rear soffits and overhang had to be re-insulated three times. Empire drywall came down and totally sealed up the back of my house and I doubt any cold draft or wind will ever find its way back into my house in that area ever again. Thank you very much guys and if I ever need insulation services I will definitely give you guys a shout. I highly recommend this company for your spray foam insulation needs

My house was built with Pacesetter homes and the paint job was contracted with Empire Drywall Ltd. They are the same company as Qualico is big production builder and also owns Empire Drywall. What a terrible job they did! I would put 0 stars if possible. There’s paint all over my tiles, hardwood floors and carpets not to mention there’s many details that weren’t painted and finished properly! Please hire professionals and people that care about the details and proper finishing! I would NOT recommend this company to do any paint job or drywalling.

***Just adding additional information to their reply which they had deleted. I posted an email from them as they are denying their work and their accountability for finish they did the details of our house. Empire did my drywall and paint job as I’ve met and spoke with their staff. As I have reached out to the builder Pacestter homes and made complaints about the details of the paint job. Not professional at all and denying their quality of work.
Please see the pictures below. There’s no quality control and no accountability. You’re just another job number which they will do and try to get it done quickly with poor finishes. Please see the pictures attached below and if you cannot see it on this Empire review please click on my name and all the pictures are attached to this review for some reason the pictures do not show. 100% the contract was done through empire and failure to take the responsibilities and show ownership of a job poorly done.
My review is to help better this company as your staff and also to let anyone know if you want to hire this company…. Do not hire unless you want a poor job done. People shouldn’t pay for service when it’s done poorly and there’s no excuses.

What a joke ??

I have recently added new pictures of my basement windows June 2022. Please see the last few pictures added. Empire drywall had done the insulation and did a poor job as after 1 year into our house I noticed some water build up in the insulation around the windows as one winter passes. As I have complained when I first moved into our house with the painting and drywall in and now the insulation which was all done by Empire Drywall . After requesting for this to be looked at it turns out they used half of the R20 insulation so it would have been a R10 value around the window!
They were to cheap and lazy to even put proper insulation around the windows. Just in disbelief what kind of staff they hire. I ask myself if their staff even have experience in painting, drywalling and insulation experience. Also with the 1 year warranty it was not even completed with Pacestter homes. When it was suppose to be honoured due to COVID 2020 and being backlogged with having no staff, Pacesetter/ Empire Drywall did not honour and finish the 1 year warranty. Stay away from Pacesetter homes and Empire Drywall. Please make sure your biggest investment of your house is not the worst experience and mistake you make. I would NEVER build with any Qualico builders.

Please see the pictures below and tell me if you would be happy with the service? Don’t make t the mistake I did and build with production builders. You’ll be just another job number and they hire the worst contractors.

At 1030 hours on 8 May 2017, Unit 87 belonging to this company was driving west bound on Wye Road towards Sherwood Park at 100 km/h while the driver, a 45 year old male with a dark goatee and glasses was engaged on a conversation on a cell phone held to his right ear.

Please ensure your employees comply with the law regarding distracted driving. It would be horrible to see your company make it to the national headlines because an employee chose to ignore the law and caused a collision while driving a vehicle bearing your company logos. The liability is staggering.
