My husband and I bought a home in Westbow’s “Cedarbrook” community and moved in almost two years ago now (time flies!). Honestly, this is long overdue, but we are so incredibly grateful for the Westbow staff and the sweet little community they are creating here at Cedarbrook.

We have been blown away by the effort they put in to build this community. I walk the trail daily and we have had a blast attending the holiday celebrations and outdoor movie nights, fitness in the park, and live music events this summer.

Right from the start, Alaina (& Taylor) were wonderful to work with and incredibly helpful through the nerve wracking process of buying our first home. We went to quite a few developments/open houses, but the second we drove into Cedarbrook and connected with Alaina with her professional but warm approach showing us around the community and attentively responding to our (many) questions, we knew this was it.

After we moved in, Tom from Customer Care has been phenomenal going above and beyond with the deficiencies and is on it with texting back and following up. You truly feel like he cares about you and your home.

The fact that many of their employees own and live in this community as well I think says it all in terms of the quality & confidence in their craftsmanship.

Anyways, I don’t know how much I possibly sum everything up, but we not only absolutely LOVE our home, but this GEM of a community Westbow is building.

Tom from customer care went the extra mile to help us with a small leak from our faucet.

We reported the leak and within a day had Tom swing by with his tool kit ready to help. He spent a little time fiddling and seemed to fix the leak.

Before he left he kindly mentioned that it was no problem for him to stop in and help, and that if his fiddling hadn’t fixed the issue, to let him know and he’d come back.

Well, unfortunately his fix didn’t last. Tom came back just as promptly as the first round and brought Matt along this time. Both with smiles and a happy to help approach, they opted to swap the sink, without charge, to ensure that things were right for us.

Employees like Tom and Matt give Westbow what every customer wants when purchasing a home: care, peace of mind, professionalism, promptness, kindness and they instil faith into you that the job was done right.

(I should also mention that Taylor was kind enough to ask if customer care could help, even though the sink was past warranty!)

We recently purchased a new home from Westbow Construction and wanted to thank and acknowledge their employee named Tom. Tom is from the customer care team and is the perfect man for the job because he cares. He was quick to replace 2 of the dented kitchen appliances as well as other repairs that should have been done prior to possession. He has brought all of our ongoing issues to his management team and even when they passed off the issues to the new Strata, he was apologetic, compassionate and understanding of our frustrations. Without employees like Tom who go the extra mile, companies would be left with poor customer satisfaction and bad reviews. I hope Westbow knows what a valuable asset an employee like Tom is to their team.

We would also like to complement Matt who installed the replacement dishwasher with efficiency, effectiveness and a smile.

I hope when we purchase our next home we get the privilege of dealing with professional, knowledgeable, skillful and friendly employees like yourselves. Thank you Tom and thank you Matt.

Westbow has not installed the soffit correctly and now a bird got into the area and built a nest. Of course they won't take responsibility and won't fix it. Be careful when you buy from them.

Caution advised when buying from Westbow. This is what Westbow "Quality for Generations" actually looks like. Defective at the time of install. Sides don't match, edges chipping off. Westbow patched edges and those are failing too. Spalling beyond what Residential Construction Performance Guide considers acceptable within the first year. Westbow even hired a 3rd party to advise, and when reported unacceptable and recommended to replace, Westbow became non-responsive. Westbow Warranty Manager even signed a document admitting that they did not follow proper procedures for warranty, yet here we are still fighting 3 years later. And that's just one of our outstanding issues with Westbow.

Bought our Home from Westbow in the Elk Creek Estates project in Chilliwack. Love the house and have a great experience dealing with Westbow. We have had a few small issues as with most new builds and they are quick to have their team come check it out and rectify the issue in short order. I would recommend Westbow to anyone looking for a quality home at a great price point.
