Sit down, have a coffee and read this unbelievable story. I'm driving from Quesnel to Wells on Monday, August 12 around 5pm. At Cold Spring, this company is paving and it's alternating traffic. While waiting, I have an RV and a few other cars ahead of me with my trailer. Behind us is a big rig.
This is where our nightmare begins. The flagger guy who doesn't actually hold a sign tells us all to turn right down the Swift River Forest service road. We assumed it was a detour and followed the cars down the logging road. Immediately, the dust blocked all but 10ft of visibility. It was so bad I couldn't see the RV ahead of us but could see the dust. After around 15 minutes we could still see dust while doing 50km/h. Eventually, we realized we were alone and had no clue where the other cars went. We reached sign 1350 about 40km from the detour spot. We had no cell service, no water and plenty of food. Since gas was getting low, we figured we may need to spend the night. We stopped at a creek and filled the tank on our trailer. I turned us around and backtracked. After dark, we managed to reach the highway. No workers in sight.
It's now around 7pm and the gas light comes on. I kept driving to Wells and by a miracle, I roll into town with 3L left in the tank.
Next, we contacted the RCMP because we are concerned others who aren't well equipped may be lost in the back roads.
Our family is extremely upset over this experience. Between the stress, wasted time and gasoline, this really ruined part of our trip. I'm now home and will spend the rest of the day cleaning the dust out of the Ford and trailer.
One a side note, the same flagger was on the west end Thursday morning on our way out. There apparently was no detour.

What a horrendous paving job in the Trail area. The amount of joints in the road, plus the fact they had to crack seal the majority of the brand new paving they did just shows it will be destroyed after one winter.
That flagging/pilot trucks were also poorly done. This company took on way more than they could handle. Don’t bid a job if you’re not capable of doing it. Also, clean up all the sand/gravel from the crack sealing you had to do after your horrible attempt at paving. It’s dangerous for motorcycles.

In response to Daniel's review, I'm not sure what he is referring to. Terus was on site for less than a day, and the downtown core of Revy looks incredible now. I guess even as a long-time local company that constantly gives back to the community, you can't make everyone happy.....
Keep up the great work, Terus!"

Slowest paving crew in Canada, they repaved main street in revy, taking them months to do a 2 week job. crew is a joke buncha people standing around doing nothin. Got 6 blocks closed off and the crew is at the opposite end of the street doing a whole lot of nothing. Zero traffic management just closed off half the town

I've been driving for 26 years. Have seen a lot of road construction in my years. These guys are absolutely the worst road crew I have ever seen. The highway 22/3b repave is absolutely trash. They are disorganized, taking way too long and the new pavement is terrible. The teaffic management is bad. They should be embarrassed. Any competent road crew would have this done in a 1/4 of the time it's taking and done 200% better job.

The worst company I have ever had to deal with. We supplied them with product over 3 months ago and they have not paid their bill, they never get back to us regarding their outstanding bill. This is not how business should be done...... If you are looking to supply them with any product - BEWARE !!!!!! YOU WILL NOT GET PAID!!!!!!!!
