We found Eric’s firm while searching online for architects to help with a home renovation that we were considering. His style, as represented by the imagery on his firm's website and elsewhere, piqued our interest because of its use of modern elements within existing structures.

After an initial conversation, we decided to have Eric’s firm produce for us what they call their Project Roadmap. It was an investigative study of our current situation in the context of what might be possible within our immediate neighborhood. The work done was thorough and insightful, giving us ideas to consider that we would never have come up with on our own.

Working with Eric was excellent. His communication style was professional but relaxed, making discussions about what we were looking for flow easily and productively.

We would recommend his services to any homeowner looking to renovate.

Cannot recommend highly enough. My partner and I were close to purchasing a century home we fell in love with, and reached out for a consult with Eric before doing so. With no prior experience in the field (especially in heritage style work) we were so grateful to have his expertise at the outset - we just got lucky finding Boldera by chance online. Eric walked us through a clear, detailed plan, connected us to trustworthy contractors, and gave us really wonderful design advice on how we might transform the place into a space that felt unique to our priorities as a young family. Sadly in the end it turned out this particular property had structural issues, so we decided to walk away. While the decision to do so was disappointing, Eric’s due diligence saved us untold hours, money and heartache on a place that wasn’t “the one” but more importantly allowed us to consider what is important to us and what is possible for when we do land on the right place. Honest, intelligent, creative, timely (and cost-saving) work is worth its weight in salt and anyone starting out a new project would be wise to reach out to Eric & his team. We will be doing so again when we do settle on our next home!

Our experience with the team at Boldera has been nothing short of incredible. From the start of our project Eric has guided us thoughtfully through the process of building our new home. The Boldera team has done a masterful job of designing our space to maximize practicality and also ensure the design is beautiful. We've appreciated how well they've kept us informed as we progress and have been a genuine partner in walking us through details and decisions to ensure we're well informed and are doing what's right for our project.

It has been a pleasure working with Eric and ERS over the past few months. Eric has been transparent and detailed from contract signing to final submitted permit drawings. Eric has communicated consistently, offered solutions but most importantly listened to our dream. Eric brought our ideas to reality and the final design is everything we envisioned. Eric has delivered our project plan on time and on budget and we are looking forward to our build.
