We hired AR Building & Groundworks to covert our garage to a bedroom with en-suit. I found the company fantastic from the beginning. The quotation was detailed and thorough, the work commenced on time, the workers were polite, courteous and respectful. Very easy to deal with and a great job overall upon completion. I'm really happy with the whole experience and will definitely use them again when we undertake our next project. Just need to finish decorating now. Top job, highly recommended ?

We got a few quotes before deciding on AR Building & Groundworks to complete our garage conversion, their quote was the most thorough and Andrew listened to exactly what we wanted.
It took a while for work to start as their diary was packed but we were told that in advance so that was no problem.
The lads that did the job were fantastic, they never stopped and got the job done with no issues.
They were professional and hardworking, they kept mess to a minimum, all materials left on site were cleared away promptly at the end of the job.
We would highly recommend AR Building & Groundworks and would definitely use them again.

I tried to contact both Andrew and Rebecca on multiple occasions and it was extremely difficult to get a response. When I eventually got a reply we organised a meeting which I attended but neither of them turned up and neither would answer my calls when I was sat waiting for over 30 mins.

New to home improvement we couldn't have worked with a better company than AR Buildings and Groundworks. Andrew and the team were punctual, professional, organised, hard working and incredibly knowledgeable. From the first meeting through to the last day of building they were on hand to offer guidance and their work was always excellent quality. They did what they said on the van! We would definitely consider them again in the future and would certainly recommend to others!

We have just had a big project completed by Andrew and his team, which has transformed the downstairs of our house. The team have created a fantastic kitchen/dining/living space for our family life, as well as a walk in pantry, w/c and utility room. We couldn’t be happier with the end result. We feel very lucky that Andrew chose to work with us; he and his team truly are the best in the business. As with any big job, we hit some unexpected issues that could have put our timescales back but Andrew went above and beyond to make sure that our job ran on time and that any issues were sorted almost immediately. All of the team are incredibly hard working and did their best to make the experience as painless as possible for us (we mainly work from home, have a toddler and are expecting another baby so we have had a lot going on through the build!). The best thing about AR is the excellent communication- Becky is a great office manager and we have always been kept in the loop about all progress and activity week to week by everyone in the team. We are so impressed with AR’s work that we have asked them to take on another building project for us in the coming months. Anyone who chooses AR for their project will not be disappointed!
