Our kitchen has been on fire last night, we called the fire brigade and they showed up litteraly in about 2-3 minutes. They gave us the support we needed and they extinguished the fire very quick. They were all very very supportive, once at 5 minutes asking us how we feel, if we need anything. They told us what we do, what we should not do. They even suggested me and my 5 weeks pregnant wife to go see a doctor to make sure everything is alright for her pregnancy. Also they carefully removed the source of fire and they even tide up. Later one they visited us and they fitted some smoke alarms. I'm not used to see such a dedication back in my country. I'm just amazed of the way they work. Thank you all!

The Best Ever

We had a house fire on 30 May 2017 and it was a horrendous one. It would have been worse if not for the prompt response of the LFB watches at Mill Hill, Stanmore and Barnet.

These brave men and women saved our house from being completely burnt down. They also stopped the fire from spreading to our elderly neighbours and worked tirelessly for many hours to contain it. I cannot thank them enough for their bravery, compassion for us as the homeowners and professionalism. They do an extremely difficult job putting their lives on the line for us all and they should be appreciated. I will forever be grateful for their response and actions on that fateful day and afterwards.

Grenfell is not the LFB’s fault but that of the Council and their contractors. The accusation of racism in this case is not only unjustified but so unfair! I am so upset and I am sure there will be many more Londoners like me who feels the same way.

Don’t crucify our brave firefighters but rather appreciate and commend their bravery. I’m very, very proud of them.
