The customer service was awful.
When we booked we were told that we would receive the report within 5 working days. We were willing to pay a higher price because of this commitment. On the 5th working day when we still hadn’t received the report we were told that it would be with us asap. We called every day after that and were told the same thing. We finally received the report 8 working days after the survey had taken place. The communication was incredibly poor. We even sent a complaint email that wasn’t even acknowledged. I would not recommend this company if you want the survey done quickly. Clearly oversubscribed but still charging a premium.

Ross was fantastic, incredibly thorough and detailed in his report and follow up calls. The report was very clear and easy to understand and has been incredibly helpful in informing our next steps on the house we are looking to buy. Shazmeena was very responsive and helpful as well. The survey is at a competitive price and with drone photos included. Highly highly recommend.

I used Surveying People for a L3 Buildings Survey and as it was my first time in using them, I was slightly nervous as the communication at the start was not always there such as not acknowledging the money transferred to their bank account. I had to pay in advance of the survey and once the survey was conducted, I had to wait for 6 working days before receiving the report. The Survey Report made up for the wait as it was very detailed and contained many photographs of the issues identified. The long list of costs to make the property right assisted me in budgeting and which I raised with the seller. The roof photographs taken by a drone were very good, listing the issues with the roof and chimney, as well as stains visible in the joints of the guttering. I am pleased with the report and had a half hour consultation with the surveyor who informed me in the detail the issues and answering questions that I had in mind. Overall, I would recommend them and would use them again.

They were excellent. Very thorough and efficient. Cheapest around. And provided additional drone footage of the roof which was very useful. Our survey was handled by Syed Ahmed and he was excellent. Very detailed in the post survey consult.

Very pleased with Surveying People. It was extremely easy to organise a survey from the start, customer service was excellent and the survey itself was very thorough. Particularly impressed with the level of detail the surveyor went into by flushing the toilets twice to check everything was working. The drone footage was a plus too. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend, Shazmeena was amazing at communicating with me, it all felt very easy. The surveyor Ross was very friendly and professional, the report was comprehensive and easy to understand so there wasn’t much to ask at the follow up call but even then, I felt comfortable to ask anything that came to mind and Ross provided really helpful advice. They have delivered an outstanding service! Quick turn around (especially around Christmas time). Very thorough report. A follow up phone call was done to get some extra information and clarify any points necessary. Bonus points for using a Drone (incl. in Level 3 Report) which is very helpful to see the exterior condition of the building as well as the roof. Definitely recommend their sevice.
