An initial phone call this morning to check stock, all confirmed so I drove across to look at a couple of pillar drills, Whilst viewing the drills I was approached by Mark, he correctly identified me as the phone enquiry from earlier.
We discussed my needs and his knowledge and advice was superb.
He steered me towards a much more suitable mini mill drill which not only ticks all the boxes but was also on offer too. He then helped guide me through some of the Milling basics and gave me plenty of time to think things through and be happy with my decisions.
This has got to be one of the best stores I've ever visited. A proper grown up toy shop and the best staff you could wish for.
Don't hesitate to visit, you'll certainly appreciate the service, I will certainly be going back soon.

The Newcastle store has put an amazing effort into woodturning. With various demonstrators attending and also their Tuesday turning sessions.

I would like to thank the team for another great day yesterday for the boarder woodturners open day. As usual the facilities were spot on, staff were on point and you could tell how much effort went in to make the day what it was. The store was very generous with the raffle prizes and also with the money raised going 50/50 to boarder woodturners and a charity.

Well done and keep up the great work supporting woodturning.

Today I took my children to one of the free workshops being ran over the school holidays. They made a picture frame and decorated it with pyrography all under the expert eyes of the staff. Children both loved it (8 year old boy & 11 year old girl) and I had to drag them out of there. Can’t wait for the next ones.
