Purchased a Z231 zero turn mower this past Summer from ESI and could not be happier with the decision. I've always disliked maintaining lawns but after owning the Z231 I realized it was push mowers all along and not grass that were the source of my misery. The mower cuts clean and evenly and is a blast to drive. The salesperson Ken was friendly, helpful and patient answering my questions. I highly recommend ESI.

The sales rep Mike Mihalek responded quickly on all questions which made it easy to choose ESI as the right place to order equipment from. The service on the front end let’s me feel I’ll receive good service after the sale.

I was excited to get a new tractor, but very disappointed in the only kubota dealer in Alaska. I requested a quote and was encouraged to lock in a price with a deposit. I used my credit card to do so. Salesman said it would be 3-4 weeks to build. OK I said even though it was on sale with factory incentives and discounts at a $3000 premium to the price of other dealers in the states. I thought OK, it expensive but let's try to buy local, it was supposedly in stock in state, and I had use for a tractor now. A week later the salesman Mike in Anchorage calls and said "management decided they are not making enough money" and that they were raising the price another $2000 on top of an already hefty markup over manufactures suggested retail. I thought that was very unscrupulous practice and verbally reluctantly agreed to the additional premium. .... Then another call, Mike stating it was that it was not being built when promised and they wanted another 2-3 weeks in top of the 4 weeks I'd already waited, because of "technical problems." by this time I had soured on Equipment Source of Alaska. I requested a refund of my deposit, which they allowed but charged 3 % of both the deposit and the refund amount. Plus an additional random charge. Kubota, your Sole Alaska dealer is not representing you well. Dealer is unscrupulous, tardy and poorly managed. If you want to deal with this outfit you need very thick skin. I would not recommend any product that is sole sourced by ESI

- failed to meet delivery window of new equipment by months (before democrats sabotaged supply lines).
- regarding any question about recently purchased equipment their *only* response is "just bring it in." Never mind the fact i just told them the equipment is out in the bush. Again.
Seriously, it's alaska, that's not always an option. Quit trying to be as cheap as John Deere & Tesla. I'll buy equipment off Wish app or Ritchie Bros before wasting time with this shop again.
