Thanks for coming out to service & inspect my heating system. I don't recall the technicians name-it said MC on the invoice. He was very knowledgeable on the regulations/specs on my boiler & hot water heater.

I have used Muotka Mechanical many times over the years, and I've always been very satisfied with their services. But this time I was pleased beyond belief. My boiler was malfunctioning, and for reasons that I won't go into today, I initially had another company in for diagnosis and repair. I sure regret that decision now! The other company said the unit was not repairable, and wanted to upsell me into a $12000 new system. I was not satisfied with the lame reasons that I was told it was not repairable, and after almost a week of frustration and no heat in my home, I called Muotka for a 2nd opinion. Andrew from Muotka came out same-day and diagnosed a very unusual problem to be a defective part. He found a difficult-to-find replacement locally, and got my boiler up and running again in amazing time! I was charged only $600. Andrew shared with me full information regarding repair options, and was very up-front and honest about the system and its current issues and potential longevity, and allowed me to weigh the options and make judgment calls regarding repairs. I am not only pleased that my system was repairable, but I am very happy to work with a company that is honest, reliable, and that I can trust. I trust that if this company advises replacement of a unit, that they are doing so honestly.

After installing a smart thermostat my furnace started acting up and giving me intermittent heat. I had another company come out and they told me I needed a $600 control board and brushed me off when I suggested the issue might be being caused by the thermostat.
Marco from Muotka came out the next day and sure enough, the issue was the thermostat. $216 dollars and an hour later, Marco replaced my thermostat with a new one and resolved my furnace issue. It’s been a few days since the repair happened and the furnace is still running like a champ. Awesome experience!!! I cannot recommend Muotka enough!! 15/10 do recommend!!

I called Muotka Mechanical around 0815 to talk to them about some work they had done on my new home a month or so prior. Around lunch time Greg Muotka had a technician out to address the issue and the customer service was great with prompt communication. The technician (Andrew) was very knowledgeable and spent extra time talking to me about my heating system, maintenance for it, and issues to watch for. As a new home owner I really appreciated the time he spent teaching me and I appreciated that the company stands by their work. 10/10 would recommend.

Greg and his crew are top notch. Choose these guys instead of a big name company! The bid for new furnace and water heater was 2000 below the name brand guys. They showed up on time, did meticulous work, fixed things they didn't have to, and were a pleasure to spend time with. You can tell Greg hires quality workers and they all get along! At one time, he had 5 guys on my little job....just to get it done on time as promised. If you are doing the Alaska home energy rebate program, give Greg a call and he will explain things very well.
