I own a house in Fairhope and 1 in Atlanta, and my wife and I split our time between the 2. My primary address is Atlanta so my license, car tags, etc are registered in Atlanta. The rental center tells me that I cannot rent equipment from them because I do not have a local drivers license. This seems absurd since I can supply an address verified by a Fairhope power bill, give them a credit card to have on file, and 1/2 a dozen local references. The guy I spoke with was unapologetically indifferent to any solution I might have proposed, and in my opinion is a poor representative of the Eastern Shore business community.

Picked equipment up. Had to go from Daphne to Orange Beach. The equipment worked for 30 minutes. When I got the equipment back to take it back to them an employee got in an accident. Had to stop and deal with that. Could not make it back to them in time. Spoke with them they were fine with that. Was supposed to refund my money when I got there the next morning. The guy Ryan asked me what was my excuse for not having it back in a timely manner. This morning I explained I was doing my job and I also had to deal with other issues due to an accident that happened in Arkansas with the owner. I was having to deal with caseworkers at the hospitals getting them transferred back to here from there so I did not get it to get back in time this morning before his time. Apparently that I was never giving a time to bring it back by being I was told not to worry about it being I couldn't make it in time the day before due to an employee in an accident. It has been a horrible experience. They are unreasonable to work with rude. Do not care about anything and their machines do not work properly at all

I called early this morning to rent a floor scraper that I needed. I made sure that they had it in store before I got there. I drove 30 minutes to get there only to find out that they do not rent to people that do not have a local ID. They definitely did not tell me that on the phone. So now I have to drive an hour further to rent a machine. I read in earlier reviews that this happened to someone else. I guess the management doesn’t care to tell people that. What a waste of my time.

It is the owners business who he wants to rent to but the least they could’ve done was told me that over the phone.

I rented an aerator yesterday. I was reluctant and honestly intimidated by the thing seeing as I’m not a very large or strong lady! The service guy was super helpful and walked me through it, even over the phone when I was having trouble setting it up. After the learning curve, it went by fast! Very great attentive, and speedy service! I will definitely be back for future endeavors!!
