Great service, but the technician didn’t mention the 1 year warranty for parts and labor. Called and spoke with the company to have something sent for my records, but was told there’s nothing to send to the customer. But they will keep a record.

If you need gas range work done (or any gas appliance), ask for ROBERT SMITH! We were so stressed that our older model gas range stove would have to be replaced ($$$), but Robert figured out our issue so quickly and took time to carefully clean the parts and it worked good as new in about an hour! He could have easily just pushed it off as too much, but he put in the hard work to help us save a lot of money and did a fabulous job! He was super kind too--very personable and respectful. I feel good that our stove is in a safe, working condition and I'm glad we got sent a gas expert--he's got 13 years experience - so I feel at ease. Absolutely keeping him on call for any further issues!!

Price for replacement parts were a little steep, but the parts have been discontinued and we were lucky that Mr. Appliance of Huntsville was able to locate two. Update: Mr. Appliance contacted me later that day explaining the mixup, and a different tech came and did my dryer vent cleaning. He also cleaned the lint out of the dryer itself, which I'm told not all service providers do. He was kind, friendly, and thorough, and he even cleaned up after himself. I appreciate that these guys were able to help me after all. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, and they did what they needed to do to make it right. I appreciate that. I'm changing the review to 5 stars.

Original review: The technician was knowledgeable and really nice, but they couldn't help me because they don't clean out dryer vents that run under the house, and that's what I need. So basically it was a waste of time and money for me, because I still had to pay for the service call.

I gave enough information in my appointment request to indicate that there was a good chance a clogged vent was the problem. It would have been nice if they had asked at that time whether it runs under the house and told me they can't do that. I realize everyone needs to make money to stay in business, but I'm tired of people wasting my time having appointments about things that aren't within the services they offer.

In short, if your dryer is heating but not drying well, and your dryer vent runs under your house, just skip this step. These guys can't help you. However, I'm still leaving 3 stars because based on this experience, I do believe they know what they're doing and would do a good job of fixing appliances.

Robert Smith, a Service Professional at Mr. Appliance and Kera, customer service, provided excellent customer service for us when we really needed it for our new side by side refrigerator door! We bought it from Home Depot in September, 2023 and after peeling off the plastic, it left streaks on the refrigerator side door in the front. Home Depot referred us to GE which was a total nightmare. I ordered a new door from GE, and they sent the wrong door twice! Robert, with A-1 Appliance called GE for us and ordered the correct door, came out and perfectly installed it on March 12, 2024. He’s very polite, patient, and professional. We can’t thank the team of Mr. Appliance enough for finally getting the job done right!
