Here is where I'm at. I asked for an estimate to repair/fix specific issues with water running over/under my gutters in 2 places. One on the front and one on the back of the house. Im no expert, they are supposed to be. Their expert said the down spouts were too small and the gutter wasn't leveled right. I agreed to pay $858 to replace several "too small" downspouts and level the gutters front and back. The front small gutter was leveled but didn't solve the problem. The back gutter was reportedly leveled, and the $800 worth of downspouts didn't solve the problem. The next time it rained, I climbed myself up on a ladder and identified the problem in 60 seconds (see photos) The gutter had pulled away from the house in a small section. This was not identified by the estimator (understandable as he didn't climb up there) nor the installers that were supposed to level the gutter. Upon reporting that the $800+ of work didn't solve my problem, the solution was for ME to pay $500+ more dollars to replace the gutter altogether. During the process of replacement, the installers indicated that they would need to charge me $150-200 more because the gutter that was being replaced was "glued and screwed" to the house. They ended up only charging me $50. Upon questioning how the supposedly leveled it the first time if it was so hard to remove since it was glues and screwed to the house, I was informed that they original installers determined it "didn't need to be leveled" (no mention of this prior or refund for estimated labor to perform level that wasnt done).....And nobody in their company seems to think that might insult the guy who paid $800+ for work that wasn't necessary and didn't solve the problem in the first place. They didnt think that might be insulting to charge extra for their companies extra time/effort after they let me take time out of my day on Monday to meet and then no showed and didn't call until after I called them over and hour after my appointment window. Then again no showed on Tuesday after I again made arrangements to be there, taking time away from my job. I was patient and understanding as they have tried to work with their team. I feel like I have dealt with them in good faith at every step. I feel that I should not be responsible for the $800 worth of work performed solely at their expert recommendation that did not solve my issue. I think charging me $50 extra for their extra time, after leaving me in limbo 2 days in a row for multiple hours is a bad look. I suggested I should provide them with a bill for my time and was offered my $50 back.

I do not believe I am being unreasonable. Since this company values its time and expertise, I feel compelled to value mine. I would like to be refunded the costs of works performed that did not solve my described issue.

Their response has been to offer me back my own $50 and $50 for the hassle. No response after multiple attempts by me to communicate and have a reasonable discussion.

Brothers came out and did an estimate for gutter guards and an additional downspout. We accepted the quote and scheduled the install. When the work crew arrived, they asked which side of the house we wanted the gutter guards. I thought the quote was for front and back gutters. The quote didn’t state. I had to pay an additional amount to have the guards placed on the whole house.
The crew installed the gutter guards and extra downspout. They installed the downspout and stopped about 2 feet off the ground. They placed a short plastic extension that ran the water behind my retaining wall.
They left the roofing debris from the gutters on the deck. I had to clean it off.
I waited to complete this review until it rained. One of the downspouts appears to be clogged and is spraying water at the gutter.
I would not recommend Brothers.

The entire experience was smooth from start to finish, thanks to Lauren who addressed our longstanding drainage issue and then provided a clear and thorough estimate.
