The Montgomery store just lost a customer due to extremely poor Customer Service. Over the past several months, we have bought floor tile, wall tile, edge trim, grout, etc. for a large shower we are doing as part of a home remodel. We have repeatedly been told by store associates that we should purchase extra, and that any unused material could be returned. Since the shower project is finished, and before we start the remaining bathrooms and floors, we decided to take back some unused material. First, we were told that we could not return some mosaic floor tiles because we did not have full boxes. When I purchased them, and as shown on the receipt, we paid for them by the piece, not by the box, and after arguing with me about it, finally, and with an attitude, agreed to the return. We also had a single piece of a different mosaic floor tile that we had bought as a sample that we wanted to return. We were told first that we couldn’t return it because it had already been returned, even though we had it as we entered the store, then we were told that we couldn’t return it because it was past the 90 day return window (by only 4 days). Then a sloppily dressed man came to the register and we were told he was the manager on duty, and he reiterated that it could not be returned for the same reasons.
What we expected to be an easy return process that would not take much of our time turned into a long irritating process. It was obvious that the staff we interacted with could care less about maintaining a customer, so we will now be taking our business for the remainder of the flooring and tiling in the house to other stores who DO care about taking care of customers.

I am a contractor in the area. This company has a multitude of issues when it comes to customer service. I bought 2600 sq ft of flooring from them and it can dry rotted and breaking apart. Floor & Decor refused to do anything to help remedy the situation. The manager of this store couldn’t have cared less and availed me at all costs. I will make sure all my customer are aware of how poorly we were treated and to shop elsewhere is possible.
The one shining light in the whole situation was
Josh at the pro desk. He did everything he could to help me and my customer get what we needed.
I love that this store is in Montgomery now and had high expectations for it. I have had nothing but bad experiences so far. So if you’re reading this just be mindful of what you are buying from. Then and make sure it’s not broken or damaged because they will do nothing to stand behind their product.

I am so glad that Floor and Decor has made it to Montgomery. The staff is great and Designer Alba Wright was a true professional and have great taste. I look forward to work with her in the future. Salesperson Mr. Owen was also great.

I cannot say enough good things about this store. So clean, organized, and well run. The customer service is top knotch! Ronnie has helped me every time I’ve come in. She is knowledgeable, and on top of it! Fast, easy, perfect! Best thing to ever happen to Montgomery!

Big selection of tile and other products for the home. The staff was very friendly and responsive. They offered to help us find items. They even told us we could stay after they closed. They have some beautiful products and things you can get at Lowe's or Home Depot.

I came in with little to no knowledge about my project and the Floor And Decor team made everything so easy!! I went to the Pro Desk for a little knowledge and Ronnie directed me to the best 2 people in the install department, Coby and Jontez. The 3 of them were very very big helps. I found myself lost and they came through and saved the day!

Josh in tile was excellent. When Kennum couldn't help me with my questions on which tile I should be using on my floor in my kitchen he sent me to Josh register who was more than happy to take me through the entire store selection and help me find the perfect size and pattern tile for my kitchen. Thank you Josh for your help!!!!
