I had Backyard Pools come and change an o ring on my filter... it took their pool guy about 3 minutes to do that. I had mentioned that this was our first pool and so he started to show me some tips... before I knew it he said that he was going to start the process of changing my water back... I had 6 bags of shock and went to get them. Before I could get them out he had already poured 2 bottles of chemicals in my pool. He started my pump which I did ask because I wanted to make sure the new o ring was installed properly. He saw that we had the skimmer doing all the circulation for the filter so he changed it flow to the jets by our steps.... I explained to him that there was a jet behind the liner that the previous owner did not cut out so that's why we just used the skimmer... he even felt where the jet was... my husband was out of town during this time so it was just me and my children... I didn't know how to change the flow so I trusted him as a professional! 7 hours of running the pump and my liner was floating. I called the next morning and told the office I needed him to come back and fix this... he told them my liner was already like that which was not the truth! Our water was clear about 3 feet from the waterline! You can see this from the photo attached! He came back about 6 days later and said I probably have a leak and mentioned he might have to bust up my concrete to fix a pipe... he did nothing that day. My husband came home shortly after their pool guy left amd pumped 4 hours of water out... everything was fixed by my husband other than the o ring... the liner on the shallow end is slightly shifted. Their pool guy came out, unannounced, and my husband just so happened to be home! Their pool guy said, "Oh! It fixed itself!" I paid my bill with them. I was quoted $85 plus $25 for mileage. I supplied the o ring which was suppose to be included with that service! My final bill was $172... I would rather drive a further distance to hopefully get better service in the future! The office personnel was friendly so that's why I don't mind the 1 star rating! I would not recommend their repair service to anyone! I would have been in a real frenzy if my husband was not able to come home! So.. women taking care of their pools... just be warned!

i requested that the sand in our pool filter be changed back in May, but now it's the end of June and I haven't heard anything from Backyard Pools about it. I did have a problem with my Chlorinator leaking water and they could not find the part they needed to repair it, so they by-passed it and I feed the pool Chlorine through the skimmer basket. That has seemed to work out ok.

The worst customer service ever. We called to schedule a spa repair and was told we would receive a call the following week to set a time. There was no call for three weeks. I called again to see why I hadn't been contacted and was told I would receive a call bank before days end to schedule a time for the next day. No return call again!! Now I have to call a repair man from Hot Springs and pay extra for the longer commute. We are installing a new pool in the spring and these people will not be getting our business!!
