I have not been a customer but gave this rating because of the lack of consideration given to me and my family when the salespeople decided to stop by. The sales people need to learn to read the room and stop talking and say goodbye. I understand you want to sell your systems but at the same time I never invited you to come give me a sales pitch so maybe stop coming by people's houses with no warning?

This company is a joke! I switched to another company last weekend and now have the fun experience of trying to cancel my services! Issues I have experienced:
1. Whole system is run on wifi. Our power box is outside. If someone cut the power, our system would be essentially useless. No cameras, nothing.
2. Cameras work when they want to. Even the doorbell cam usually takes so long to load on the app, that by the time I have a visual, whoever was there is long gone. Useless for screening access.
3. Window sensor's are faulty. We have 1 (of 5) that reads critical battery every 2 weeks no matter what we do. Ended up having to bypass it for over a year. Great security, huh?
4. Customer Service stops the moment you sign your contract. Reps are rude, requested callbacks never happen, and no straight answers are ever given.
5. Cancelling is a nightmare. You can only do it over the phone. You can request a scheduled callback (that never comes), or sit in a phone queue for hours until they (accidentally on purpose) hang up on you.

Stay away from this company. They are predatory and do not deliver on their promises.

What ever you do do not buy an ADT security system!!!!!!
They are the worst company to deal with for customer service!!! I have been calling and calling. The only way to get someone to come to fix the broken system they installed is to pay them $60. They have come out to fix it before and it is still broken!! That is now $120 . We already pay them $150 + a month. There is aparrently no warranty on the system. Again DO NOT BUY ADT!!!!

I closed on my new house on March 21st and within one month they were driving to my property for a cold call while I was outside doing yardwork. Apparently, they go to the courthouse and get leads on new homeowners and feel they have the right to just drop in at your new house to try and sell you their product. It is 2023, not 1973 and I do not appreciate this level of intrusiveness to sell me a product using basically door to door salespeople. I thought that ended with the vacuum and encyclopedia sales in 1996. I'm not down with high pressure sales and taking up my time I had planned for something else.
