We sought help to remodel the original small bathroom the 1950’s brick bungalow that we bought in 1977. We’d added on to the house over decades and remodeled this bath 6 years ago with new tile, toilet and vanity and fresh paint on plaster walls. The new goal was removing the heavy ceramic bathtub and installing a walk- in shower. Martha Dust, certified design consultant, guided us through the process. She asked our goals, showed varied choices , answered questions and explained what the project would entail and the expected costs. She came several times to the house and kept in steady communication during the process. She enlisted subcontractor Shawn Goade, who, with his sons, did fine work and also communicated regularly about dates/times and progress, always in a pleasant manner. Martha also ordered needed components and told us when deliveries or procedures would arrive/be handled by workers other than Shawn. The finished project pleases us: a stylish new bathroom with a much safer bathing option. We will return to Kitchen and Bath Ideas and hope to work with Martha as Shawn n the future because of their excellent abilities, customer service and friendly dependability.

We contacted Kitchen and Bath Ideas after several failed efforts to get a reliable contractor to commit to our full kitchen renovation, which included building out a laundry closet to relocate a washer and dryer. Within a few days, Leslie came out to take measurements and listen to our ideas, and I knew right away that she understood the assignment. She presented precise 3D drawings of our future kitchen layout and brought our vision to life! Leslie continued to provide guidance and input while we selected materials and kept the project on budget. Leslie always had solutions available for any questions that came up, and her keen designer’s eye and expertise helped us make the right decisions. Once the project started, Leslie was in contact daily to ensure everything went smoothly. Every subcontractor, including plumbers, electricians, painters and framers, and cabinet installer were all thorough and professional. Everyone kept their workspace clean and organized, and Kitchen and Bath would send a truck over periodically to collect any leftover trash from demolition. Every small detail was addressed, including matching the door casings for both entries to my kitchen and even staining transition strips to match my existing hardwood floors. Leslie gave us a timeline before the project began and was able to keep the project moving to finish on schedule. I am very pleased with the outcome of our remodel, and I can’t wait to use Leslie at Kitchen and Bath to redo my bathrooms.
